This book has it all, a balanced approach to exercise, fabulous recipes and integration of meditation, yoga and journaling. The recipes are satisfying, healthy, and delicious.
Amazing book with an amazing approach to many different things, such as meditation, yoga & clean eating. The food does get a little expensive but it’s worth it when you’re fueling your body with chemical free foods & the highest quality ingredients. Unfortunately we live in a society where the highest quality stuff costs the most, definitely worth it to me. I hope to eventually save enough to be able to attend a retreat someday.
I am about to start the 2 week plan, however I won't be doing any of the yoga as I don't approve of this sort of thing and the same goes for the medidation.
I would love to visit the actual bikini bootcamp in Mexico, but for now I'll just read the book. This book is a two week program of exercise and an eating plan. It provides some pretty good recipes and gives you an exercise routine you can do at home without any equipment. I haven't actually followed the plan yet, but I have read the book and it's pretty straight forward and logical. You don't have to go to any extremes.
I stumbled upon the website for their resort in Mexico, Amansala (www.amansala.com) and was mesmerized. So I'm reading the book. It has a lot of good ideas and two complete shopping lists for two weeks of meals. I'd really like to try the meal plan, but 1) all that produce! gets expensive, quickly and 2) who has time to make all that stuff? I may try it yet. We'll see.
Following this book and doing the exercises really kicked my butt. Got me in great shape for the summer. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great workout.
