PWP ~ with barely a sizzle for me!...
There is one thing I love about reading and writing reviews... we as readers are all individuals - even with common ground and a passion for the same genre we can differ in opinions... I can sometimes read reviews and wonder if the readers have read the same book... as the interpretation, the way they felt or even the visualization can be poles apart. I too have found myself in this situation and none more so than with this book!
I have tried to analyze the reasons but have come up empty... other than, as readers - we are a fickle bunch!
This is a book of seduction, voyeurism and sexual exploration involving Jacob, a 20 year old student who's kinks and desires are awakened by a couple fully aware of their own. For Jacob this is a revelation... an experience even 15 years later is still fueling his sexual fantasies.
This is most definitely a Porn Without Plot read, something I am not averse to. Ohhh, I hold my hands up and admit I am right up there with all my pervy friends loving my smut - Erotic being the main course of my dietary needs, but on this occasion the lack of plot did not captivate me, even at a baser level.
In my opinion the characters were flat, totally one dimensional and with the main substance of the book being sex and the author unable to endear me to the characters with their personalities... not a tummy flutter of excitement did I have, even with the D/s games played. I also tried re-reading paragraphs thinking I was possibly missing something... but to no avail!
I am not a DNF girl, always the optimist hoping for a spark to ignite which did not happen. I have pondered the issue of this book being an m-m-f book, as I am strictly an m-m reader... could this be the possible reason for my lack of enthusiasm? Surely there would have been a connection with the 2 male MC's then!?!
There are many great reviews for this book and if you enjoy PWP then this would be a book for you but sadly not for me!

I read this story awhile ago, but could never quite find the words to describe the power, passion, and lust these characters stirred in me. Still can’t, but this book deserves a review—so here we go. I try not to swear in my reviews, but sometimes those magical, forceful words say it best. :)
Imprinted is fucking hot! Potent and passionate. Weak in the knees, may-have-stopped- breathing-at-one-point power. Felt the words all the way to my core type HOT!
This is the story of three people who found pure pleasure and sexual fulfillment with each other one hot summer. Lust, need, power, control, and pent-up desires come out to play when young Jacob meets Mr. and Mrs. D. What these three unleashed in each other was primal and dirty and sexy. Mr. and Mrs. D set out to satisfy their sexual needs while showing and teaching young Jacob a world filled with passion and power. Warm bodies spent touching, thrusting, begging, licking, arching, and slipping deeper & deeper into overwhelming pleasure and release. Honestly my words are failing me here. Just know I felt the sexual tension, fire, and want ignite in my own gut.
”His eyes stayed on me the whole time I walked to him. Normally dark blue, now they seemed almost black. He licked his lips and suddenly I wanted to kiss him. Him to kiss me. He didn’t, but when I stood in front of him he moved close enough for me to feel his warm breath on my wet mouth.”
I should also confess that these pages hold one of my favorite fantasies in fiction and film—DESK SEX! :D
Ms. Sweet hits all the right notes with the desk sex here though! In my opinion, the hottest scene in the book, but also the most revealing and heartwarming one as well.
My only complaints were that Mrs. D walked a fine line between creepy and sexy and I could of done without Mr. D’s shouts of “coming, coming”. LOL! Just me though. Tiny insignificant bumps in the road that did not rob one ounce of the passion or impact of this story for me.
Jacob, Mr. D and Mrs. D found what they longed for in each other. I found a powerful sexual experience.

Oh... My.... this was so freaking hot. I think this might be a contender against the venerable Babysitting the Baumgartners in terms of the level of smut and hotness. Wow. Just wow. In BTB, you have the husband and wife initiating a young woman into the joys of sex. With them. In this one, you have the wife of the husband setting up scenarios for her husband to get it on with the 20-year-old lawn boy. She somehow knows her husband wants it, and once she realizes Jacob is game, it's on!
Going into this, based on the blurb, I thought this would be more m/f or m/f/m. Maybe a little bit of touching/exploration between the men, but more focused on the woman. That's kind of how I like my menage... girl is the center of attention. I was surprised -- and pleasantly surprised which shocked me -- that there was a whole lot of man lovin' going on. And it was freaking hot! Mrs D had such a way of dirty talk and so did Mr. D. Jacob sort of went along for the ride, but he had his own dominating fun with Mary-Jane along the way.
This was one of those non-stop fuck-fests sandwiched between a bit of necessary story information, but it was done really well. You continue reading because you want to know where it's going. And it's hot. There were real feelings involved: longing, satisfaction, excitement, gentle affection, hard-driving need, uncertainty. You had a great insight into how Jacob felt about everything that was happening.
I want to point out, in case I'm gushing too much, that I really don't read much where it's just the m/m interacting for the most part. Maybe what I read is "average" in that scheme, but it really did it for me.

Totally hot. Totally smutty. Totally hope there''s more. I want Jacob to find his own yard boy to 'imprint'. I wouldn't mind seeing this formula again, it's just so hot! If you are a Selena Kitt fan then you will be familiar with the theme of the kinky older couple seducing the younger person. The Deans (Mr and Ms. D) seduce the yard boy. Ms. D constructs the plan wanting her husband to admit to wanting the yard boy.
This book was so extremely hot I got out of my playtime slump :) I was more than inspired by ménage scenes and the man lovin'. I think that it had a bit more of a personal feel. I guess because it was first person POV. I just like erotica that gives you a tiny bit of story. I have to have something in between the pages of sex. This was well layered, well written. You definitely are served up plenty of hot, sweaty sex scenes but there is a bit of sweetness in the sexual discovery Jacob finds between Mr and Ms. D.

Good Lord, this may be one of the steamiest short reads EVER! It the book had been any longer, I would have needed to sit in a bucket of ice for a bit!
What I liked about the book, is it was more than just gritty erotica. There was a story behind it, told in the POV of the main character, as he recounts his sexual awakening and exploration with "Mr. and Mrs. D". It boils down to fantasies. A young college boy doing yard work becomes an accidental voyeur, which leads to one HELL of a summer experimenting with the slightly older and sexually wiser couple. If you like a scorching sex read, pick this one. You've got the Hero on himself, the Hero on his "sweet girl" summer fun, husband on wife, wife on Hero, Hero on Husband in the shower and the office, Husband on Hero on Wife...you get the picture. Shooooooowee this was a hot one for sure!

Pick myself up off the floor, this was HOT. Hawt. hot. Ok, there ARE lady-bits, it is m/m/f. But the POV is Jacob’s, a hot n' horny college boy with very naughty neighbors, Mr. & Mrs. D. The happily married couple indulge Jacob’s voyeuristic tendencies and feed his every fantasy.

Already many read worthy reviews but one comment points out the flaw in Goodreads rating system and I have to agree. While I happily gave this novel a 5-star rating, in no way does it compare to the quality of a novel such as 5-star 'Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan' (just for an example) a totally unrelated different type of novel.

Talk about hot! Not much angst or troubles in this story. One thing I think that made this book incredibly sexy is its entirely from a guy's POV. The whole thing is first person POV from Jacob. And oh my ;) That was pure smutty goodness. Eventually it turned into a ménage à trois. After this guy Jacob while on summer vacay from college is doing yard work for Mr. & Mrs. D ends up being a voyeur watching them have sex through the window.
Before long its revealed that Mrs. D has been pulling the strings of the whole thing. Mr. D wants Jacob and Jacob wants them both. But i got the feeling he wanted Mr. D a bit more. Before long its lots of menages' in any way you could think of. Ha! Was a fun sexy read. Enjoyed this book.

Recommended to me by my friend Deanna I wasn't sure what to expect other than it would be a good read. Boy was it delicious. This erotically charged book by new-to-me author Darcy Sweets, hit so many of my HOT buttons. Although I'm not usually a fan of flashback, or reminiscent moments, Jacob's retelling of his summer sexual journey starting with a voyeuristic scene is fantastic.
Let's just say I enjoyed this book so much I just had to see if the author had written anything else...so glad she has!

Well, this worked for me. It’s pretty PWP, but with just enough character interest to get away with the fact that most of it is just sex. It was a well done menage, entirely believable to me and hawt. Nothing too cliché or credulity stretching. The dialogue worked, which is so often a problem in erotica. So all in all, I got what I wanted out of this and I cannot say fairer than that. There was an m/f side story which was well handled, woman positive and linked nicely to the main plot (using that word plot in its thinnest sense).

Now this is how erotica is done. WoW. Darcy Sweet's story of a young man home from college doing landscaping at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. The story is told from Jacob's perspective as he discovers a side to his sexuality he did not know existed. He discovers that some acts leave an imprint on your life. If one is lucky, the discovery of these sexual kinks can open a world full of pleasure and acceptance. I loved this novella and Ms. Sweet's style.

Wow, what a sexy fun little read. This wasn't just about hot sex, although it had plenty of that. It was about our main character, Jacob, discovering himself and discovering his confidence. I was suprised at the emotional elements of this short. The characters were great and well developed in such a short time.

This was 5 star good. I see the similarities between it and BSB, but this had more build up, it was a little more refined and it was m/m/f as opposed to BSB's m/f/f. Just good sexy awesomeness!

This is high on sexy scenes and in most variations within a menage context. Not a lot to the plotline or character's depth. What starts as accidental voyeurism by college lad Jacob becomes a teens dream in sexual exploration and delight when Mr and Mrs D take him under their wing to educate him and fulfil all of their desires and fantasies. I liked how Darcy used her characters to show limitations for the duration and the boundaries for Jacob so he is aware of the temporary nature of the menage interaction. It shows awareness implicitly rather than explicitly of caution and possible dangers of two becoming three in sexual play where the couple want to spice up their sex life by menage play, but ultimately retain their marriage of two.
One or two typos and errors but nothing too significant. I hovered between 3 and 4 stars. It is borderline as there are some really arousing sexy scenes. The BDSM is limited and light, mainly Dominance, submitting and wrists bound, one where sex is forced...maybe classed as dub con but safeword had but never used. Borderline 4 stars for me.

3.5 (maybe 4) stars - Reading the intro I didn't like the plot, but I know myself so well that I knew that it would Blow my mind (get the innuendo?)
Hotness: 5+ stars
Story: ? ~ 3-4 stars (a prop)
Characters: ? ~ 3 stars (again - a props)
And wow. I'm kind of in chock. I don't know why, but this felt more taboo than 50% of Erotica that is labeled that way.
I felt the book was Mrs. Robinson thrown together with suspect manga genres (These 3 for reference: shounen(for boys), Yaoi(M/M sex) and ecchi(sexual situations/females from a boy's wet dreams)) and I am not reeealy into to any of those, although I AM into Erotica:
- M/M can be hot, but it's really not me and I always feel weird after such a read!
- I don't like the whole seducing and educating element, but in total the it was SO hot (i.e. not weak main lead, that would've made it 2 stars).
- This story was all about the overtime activity and Ms. Sweet did it sextremely well ;)

Holy Smexy Town I loved this book! It was such a fun read, I couldn't put it down. Literally- I was reading it at stop lights, during class, while on the phone etc... Jacob was so damn cute you just wanted to eat him up. Here is this sweet, naive college kid, just coming into his own sexually, and he happens upon his hot employers having a light BDSM session while he weeds outside their bedroom. Mrs. D, sees him and eventually lures him into their lives by promising to help him explore his deepest desires. It sounds so generic and tawdry, but honestly it was a really sweet love story between this couple and Jacob. He learns so much about himself, his sexuality and his desires while they are also able to fulfill desires they have always dreamed of. Mr. and Mrs. we're such a sexy Dom couple that I would be willing to be a swinger just for them, no joke! Two big thumbs up.

Wow! This is one the hottest erotic books I've read and I've read at least one hundred books in the genre. I wish it was a longer book, but for it's length (no pun intended) it held my interest. The story is similar to the book, Babysitting the Baumgartners, but this story involves a young 20 year old man. There's m/m, m/f, and m/m/f.
