The baby-faced beauty of Hotel Olympus, Apollo is another of Zeus’s many kids. He always carries his bow and arrow as he trots around among men and gods, involving himself in quite a few myths along the way.
I'm halfway through the book, reading it to my youngest bit by bit. The illustrations are charming and the arrangement of the myths into a continuous narrative is clever. I am disappointed that Hyakinthos was left out and in the demonization of Hera, particularly in stories in which she was not usually involved. There are multiple typos in the text, which are distracting, but I'm more or less pleased with the handling of the subject matter, which was more thorough than I expected.
