The 15 Revolution sets out to make us more aware of the people in our immediate space and to provoke us to be the bringers of God's life to the hurting world on our doorstep. It is as simple - and as difficult - as being willing to give 15 minutes a day to be inconvenienced in order to help someone.
The first time i knew about this book is from the time when i heard Paul Scanlon preached at my church. He delivered an interesting message on how we should have made ourselves to be inconvenienced by others; whether they would spend your time longer than it should, or would stop you on your way to a heavily important matters, and things related. The objective of doing this thing is to help people to ease their life. By doing that kind of thing, we surely would have a better feeling to move on.
The book is quite thin, and i love the way Paul Scanlon wrote it; it's so easy to read. He also put several stories as examples on what would the 15th revolution would impact others. Lots of people felt so loved that they understood that life is about others too.
For a person who has limited English, i can assure you that this book would help us to understand the meaning of true giving.
A revolution that would only cost each of us 15 minutes a day. Straightforward motivation and a well deserved shake up from our selfish day to day choices.
