I'm trying to teach myself Spanish through Duolingo, Babbel and Memrise. Recently a friend of mine (who takes Spanish classes, uses Duolingo and gets reference materials from the bookstore) lent this to me and it's super helpful. Basically, these simple words and phrases are divided into different categories, like "for work" or "communicating with your friends". This makes it easy for me to find Spanish phrases that are useful to me. (Bonus: There are a couple of tips on how to fit in and be more fluent in the language.) Love this interesting book!
