Wow. That was the most fun I’d had with a book in ages. The humour was absolutely delightfully absurd. The main character was really cute, and all the relationships between everyone all ended really sweetly. Again, I cannot overstate how much fun I had reading this. The illustrations throughout the book were really cute too!

If getting your egg cracked via alien sex swap technology + lesbian polyamory with a minor sideplot of alien politics and attempted political assassinations sounds interesting to you, you will probably have a great time with this novel.
It's fluffy and sweet for the most part, although some of the reactions to Svetlana's coming out were more harsh initially than I expected from the description (prepare for some misgendering, deadnaming and having your coming out disregarded as a mistake). However, once that is solved the novel continues on its fast, fun and fluffy whirlwind of shopping trips, coming out to your parents and being really gay for your alien girlfriends.
I really enjoyed the sidecharacter representation of being a trans butch as well as the well done representation of plurality.
All in all, I liked it and even though it was a bit too fluffy for my regular reading tastes at points, I still had a great time.

Very much structured like a harem anime, being an episodic series of shenanigans with background that mostly comes to matter at the very end. Except with a transbian polycule. 💖

Also, finally, some decent fucking representation of plurality. After reading two books in a row that had good trans representation but also a crappy Jekyll-and-Hyde take on plurality, this is a breath of fresh air. More books that do this at all decently, please, I'm begging!

Cute and enjoyable story. Trans and poly, it's light and fun, very much a homage to harem animes, but a lot more healthy.

What's not to like! It's got disaster lesbians, trans folk, space robots and fight scenes. All the things I want in a book!

It's super chill and fun to read and I desperately want more of it.

An enjoyable romp of ludicrousness which poked fun at certain aspects of unwanted harem anime, and soundly resolved it with polyamory.

what an amazingly absurdly entertaining book. Like just the sheer craziness throughout the whole thing was enough to keep me reading for pretty much an entire afternoon and evening. I've never been a big harem fan but this one was really fun and imaginative and just wild. Definitely worth a read. In fact I hear there's a sequel releasing soon or already released and I'm probably gonna read that one in a day too.

I don't get all the positive reviews. This book is terrible, there are no stakes and every issue is resolved by the protagonist kissing it away. If you want to read the book equivalent of a bad ecchi anime, this is for you. If you want anything approaching a decent understanding of gender go elsewhere.
