This has to be the worst book ever. There is no story line, no structure, no nothing. I thought there would be something that changed in his behavior, anything. I'm on chapter 27 and nothing has changed. Im bored

Daddy Long Stroke by Cairo is not for the sexually faint of heart! I found myself blushing from page 1. I admit that the strong graphic content threw me off at first, but after I got into the book, I saw what the author was doing. Alexander Maples, aka Alley Cat, thinks that he is God’s gift to women…and the women that he deals with treat him as such. They know that he is sleeping with several different women, but they still flock to him like ants to a picnic. Some of them lavish him with expensive trips, gifts, and money in hopes that he will pick them to be “the one”. Alley Cat is the epitome of emotionally unavailable, but that doesn’t stop women from becoming emotionally attached to him. For the most part, he wasn’t openly disrespectful to these women. He gives them the sex and attention that they crave in exchange for the money and expensive things that he wants. I felt myself feeling sorry for these women because they would do all of these things for this man and he didn’t care one bit about them. Once you look past the graphic sex scenes, I feel like the author is giving us a candid look into the mind of some men. As women, we tend to be so caught up in nurturing and “fixing” a man, that it doesn’t even dawn on us that he doesn’t want to be fixed and is playing on our emotions to get what he wants. This was a fast read, and I would probably recommend it to my friends who are fans of erotic novels.

Alexander is the type of man that knows how to get what he wants. It doesn’t hurt that he was blessed with a package that women have been known to fight over. He uses his sexual prowess to bilk money out of woman, gain free merchandise and even score free airfare from one woman to visit other women. Alley Cat is no stranger to the game and is an expert player. So, do the women continue to be his pawns or will he lose in the end?
I’m not the type of person that judges a book by its cover, so I decided to pick this one up and read it. From the very first sentence, my jaw remained dropped. Every page had some form or other of a sexual act, whether it was masturbation, oral, or the real deal. Cairo, the author, touted this book as being from the perspective of a male gold digger. What I read was beyond that. It was already established that Alexander Maples, known as “Alley Cat” or “Daddy Long Stroke” on the social networking sites he perused, was a man on the prowl who used sex and the size of his manhood to get what he wanted. He used women for their money and let them know right up front that he doesn’t care anything about them, that he is and will continue to sleep with other women and that if they won’t have sex with him, he will just find the next willing female. While I know that this is common practice amongst a lot of young people, I found this book very disturbing.
From the very first page, you get a glimpse as to how this man goes about his daily routine. Every page is filled with sexual encounters, females called out of their names and also the degradation of these women. For example, one female performing a sex act on Alexander, even when she could smell the scent of another female fresh on his body. As a woman, this bothered me to no end. There was even an encounter with a little person that left little to the imagination and also felt as if the character was abusing a disabled person for his financial gain.
I know people are going to wonder, why did you continue to read the book when you knew what it was about? I finished it because I wouldn’t be a good librarian if I didn’t. My job is to be objective and I know that these are books that the majority of my patrons enjoy. How do I recommend books to them without having actually read the item?
If you are looking for a book that has a lot of sex, then this is the one for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for something that has sex and a storyline, this is one that you should bypass. I feel that the author could’ve accomplished more with a much more likeable character. Instead, I was left feeling angry and a little bit hurt for the woman who just happened to be a stepping stone for Alley Cats mission.

I wanted an easy book that I could finish quickly and wasn't too deep. This book definitely fits that bill. There's sex, sex, and more sex. That's one of the reasons I chose this book. I'd advise anyone who isn't open-minded about sex to not read this book because it is extremely explicit. I was hoping for a little bit of a plot to go along with it, but there was none.
It was entertaining enough at first. However, page after page is the same thing: Alex aka Alley Cat aka Daddy Long Stroke, having sex with anyone walking and finessing them out of their money. The sex scenes weren't really sexy after a while and quickly became boring. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people like Daddy Long Stroke in the world. This book serves as a cautionary tale to people who may come across a personality like this. He never changes. He never shows any growth. He never shows any remorse. There are people like that in real life. The fact that nothing ever changes with him makes this book a little frustrating to read because I was hoping for this book to be more of an escape than a glimpse into realism. There's absolutely nothing likable about Alex and there's no one to root for. Not even the women he involves himself with. I finished it in hopes that there might be a twist eventually, but I was disappointed. I love a good nasty book, but I like a little substance, too. I know I said I wanted an easy book, but not THAT easy.

Mr. Alexander Maples is all man and he’s out to get whatever he wants from women. He totally degrades these women mentally and physically, all for one purpose – SEX!
Cairo vividly uses his imagination as he takes the readers to sexually explicit moments in this jaw-dropping novel. It was absolutely too much for me after reading only a few pages. Now, I love my hot and steamy sex novels, but this novel just was too much to take in all at one time. I continued to read this book as I agreed to review it. This novel was ridiculously degrading to most women who may consider themselves as one of the characters in this book. It is a shame but it is the TRUTH as many do anything for a MAN with a KING KONG DONG! I still love Cairo and will continue to read more of your novels in the future.

So, I did a little investigating this book is nearly 12 hours of sex and disrespecting women. So ... it's pretty much porn. It's not my cup of tea. The sex is graphic, this guy is manipulative in bed and a golddigger. I don't want to hear the Narcissist's Guide to Being a Player so I'm moving on. Plus he has been with 3 women in 7 hours and hasn't washed himself once. When women complain he threatens to cut them off and they fall for it. 🙅🏾♀️

Alexander Maples a.k.a Alley Cat a.k.a. Daddy Long Stroke lives a wreckless and dangerous life, taking advantage of numerous women…all for his selfish ego. While he servicing then with pleasure, he's using them for use of their vehicle, money, plane tickets, etc.; and doesn't care who he hurts in the process. His parents make several attempts to reel their son in, but their words fall on their deaf ears. His mother is reminded of his father's similar behavior and his father doesn't want his son to make the same mistakes he did.
With all of the drama that took place in this book, I kept waiting for the climactic moment…which never came. The ending also left much to the reader's imagination. There were a few unanswered questions, but overall it was a good story, with a few errors.

I really can't believe I read this book. I am all about Erotic Novels but this one was way too much. All over the place... I tried to put it down but then I'd pick it back up... It was like a car accident... I know I shouldn't keep watching as I drive but I can't help myself... OMG... I'm not going back into the Afram section of the bookstore anymore... I can't even think I'm so flustered from this book...

I believe if I would have read this when it came out it would have been received a little better. I'm also from the south so that could have been a disconnect in his speech also. Lastly I didn't read this I listened to the audio book. It could have been better if I made up voices in my head instead of the voices given to me.
It took way too long to start the actual story. Then after the story was started there wasn't really a story. Just escapades. I wanted there to be a beginning, middle and end. This was more like middle, middle, middle, and middle. There was no real lesson learned or an ah-ha moment. I didn't like that for myself. I feel like he could have built off of a few relationships but they just kind of fell off. We saw 1 whole relationship but there could have been more. Even confronting his friend didn't make it in the story. If there is a second book to help tie things together, I will never know.

Love the way this author writes steamy scenes that last for several pages. Daddy long stroke is a charming and charismatic smooth talker. He’s definitely a memorable character I’d say most ladies would love. But I put this book down a few times because I couldn’t get into the story. Then I decided not to force myself to read past the halfway mark. It’s still a pretty decent read that got me hot and bothered.

There needs to be a DNF no stars option. This book was terrible. I couldn't even get half way through it. No plot. Just porn. And the dialogue was so out there that I couldn't even enjoy the porn. No one talks like this.

DLS talked too much…..He’s one of those men that he knows he can have whomever he wants and decides he’s just going to degrade them. The fact that he was in NYC and gave that other woman another woman her shoes was like man he’s messed up. But I can see him just being selfish with every part of his life. I really wish it didn’t end the way it ended though. I needed more. Will he learn his lesson about mistreating women or will he continue to use that torso when he doesn’t wanna be bothered with a woman. So many questions left unanswered.

Needs a part 2.....I have been trying to read this book for a year now but never could find the time to sit and enjoy it. Well I have finally finished and it's well worth the wait. Alley Cat is a real raw selfish dudes. But it does bring light to the self esteem of females. And it also shows me why alot of females act the way the act.

Mr. Alexander Maples is a thuggish man who uses his good looks and sex game to manipulate woman every chance he gets. This man is of a different caliber. I've never seen someone who likes to have more sex then this guy.
This is my first Cairo book and he and other people were right about the fact that he's explicit with his stories, while reading this I was like WOAH! I thought it was too much at first, but then I started getting into the story. The story was funny as much as messed up at the same time. Alex disgusted me in every way, the way he treated and manipulated women was uncalled for and I found myself hating him more and more with each page that I read. But another thing that pissed me off was how stupid the women were too. I mean sometimes he was very blunt with them about what he wanted then he would ridicule them as well and they would still come back again! I mean it was like they set themselves up for it. On top of everything he was also using these women for their money as well. Sure Mr. Maples can satisfy a woman in every need that she desires but, is he capable of satisfying her in the love department? NOT! This man has no scruples and isn't capable of loving anyone but himself. He's arrogant and self-indulged...definitely not my cup of tea Mr. Maples...not by a long shot.
This story is filled with out of this world sex, drama drama drama, comedy and moments where you just want to take this man and kick the shit out of him. I definitely recommend this book but that's only if you like Raw, uncut, graphic sex and graphic language, definitely not for the faint of heart.

This book was off the chain. The author has such an explicit imagination. He painted this character in this book as a very arrogant, non caring individual to conqueor any woman he came in contact with his package. It was so hard to believe that people can be so unfeeling. But after reading the story I was amazed. About halfway through the book, I remember saying to myself, "ok this is getting old, but I kept reading in hopes that Alley Cat and his arrogance would put him a place to met up and mess over the wrong woman, in the end getting what he deserved for messing over women as he did. On the flip side. These woman were not innocent and never once was involved with Alley Cat unknowing what kind of man he was. Only in it to win it and not to catch feelings for him because it was not that kind of party with him. It didn't end like I would have wanted but overall it was a good read if you can deal with "RAW".

This is my first book by Cairo and will not be my last. This book is about a male gigolo who is essentially addicted to sex but will not admit it. Alex lets female know he is just about sleeping with them and wants nothing more so if someone gets their feelings hurt it on them. Cairo wrote a gritty straight up book about what signs a female should be looking for so a man won't take them for all they got. In reality there are a lot of males out there that does the same thing and this book gives you the sign.
The language is not for the faint of heart and is writing in straight streets but you will laugh out loud, shake you head but overall you will love this book, I know I do.

Cairo is a one of a kind author. His books are raunchy, full of sex and the best yet, funny as hell! These books aren't for everyone as they are explicit, but they tell a great story. This is my 3rd book by Cairo, and I was not disappointed. Alex aka Alley Cat aka Daddy Long Stroke is the main character in this book. He is one of those men that I can't stand, full of arrogance and as selfish as they come. He switches women almost daily, and these desperate females give him money for spending a little time in the sack with him, knowing he's doing the same thing with all these other women. smh. You need to read this and see what happens! The drama and action doesn't quit!

This was a decent story but I expected more. I wanted to see Alex get what's coming to him. Hopefully there will be a part two for this. Seriously he screwed over so many women and in the end nothing happened to him. Really? The women should have known better than to deal with him and get caught up though. I was waiting on someone to kidnap his ass or do something to his parents but nothing. Also, I enjoy reading sex scenes but this book had sooooo much sex that it started getting boring. Every other page Alex as banging someone new. I'd like to see a sequel to this where Alex goes to a sex addiction support group lol. I haven't read that many Cairo novels but so far this is my least fave.
