Rizzarda and published on her blog shelidon.it.This publication has the two-fold aim to provide more practical support for the consultation to those who flicker through the blog regularly, both in digital and physical format, but is also driven by a charitable purpose.According to the World Health Organization, 1 out of three women has been the target of some severe form of violence during her life.As it has been denounced by almost thirty years by anti-violence centres throughout Italy and Europe, violence against women occurs throughout all society, involving men and women of all ages, social background, level of education and/or employment.Cerchi d'Acqua (Circles in the Water) is an anti-violence centre born in 2000 in Milan, Italy. It is active in counteracting gender violence as a they organize campaigns and other actions of awareness-raising and information, intending to trigger a social and cultural change, and they offer free assistance to women for them to transition out of violence predicaments and for them to cope with trauma. In over twenty years of activity, it has welcome over 12.000 women in need.Cerchi d'Acqua works driven by the assumption that every woman has in herself the strength she needs to get out of the distress triggered by violence and that she can do that with the help of other women.
