What’s with the rash of LN with cliffhanger endings?!?
Also, I don’t ship her with ANY of the love interests or secondary characters at all… can we get someone new who would actually be a good match for her please?
It’s funny, I pre-ordered this and forgot when it was coming out, but I had started to re-read the third book and was in the middle of it when this one came out. Fortuitous!
4, inhaled this book in one sitting, stars.

This volume is an improvement over the last one when it comes to errors. I caught two misspelled words, and three instances of the wrong character being cited. And yes, that’s still an improvement. :p The thing that bothered me much more was that the quality of the writing went down. There was an amateurish feeling to this volume brought on by details being repeated unnecessarily. It was like the story was written out of order, or details were repeated in the original web version because people might have forgotten them since reading the last installment. But in a novel, where I was just told “that” in the last chapter, it felt like, “Duh! I know that already.” It’s hard to explain. Most light novels I read feel like they are written at a lower level (maybe targeting a younger audience) than other books I read. This ultimately gets tedious and makes me stop reading the series. I really hope this feeling doesn’t continue in future books, since it was NOT an issue in the first two volumes. I know this author is capable of more. So, again, I wonder if Tenichi was rushed to publication. As for things I liked…the story is still interesting. I enjoyed that Pride struggled with her anger a lot more in this volume. The Pride of ORL seemed much closer to the surface this time. In that regard Cedric was an excellent foil for her. I’m eager to see how things will progress.
I’m very mixed on Cedric, but thankfully looks like he’ll be much matured going forward.
I do love seeing Pride in her element, being super competent! Though it was fun to see her lose control & yell at Cedric (he deserved it, trust). It’s also pretty funny how oblivious she is to the fact that everyone’s in love with her & respects her.
Shoutout to Suzunosuke who did the illustrations - absolutely stunning, as usual. We Love.
Not as good as the first or second book. And why most it end in a cliffhanger? Now we need to wait months for the next book. What changed my review from my initially planned 3 stars are the short glimpses from the viewpoint of the others and the interlude at the end of the book. So I give it 4 stars.
I blazed through this book in one day. I enjoyed myself as usual with this one, though I did have moments where I wanted to seriously shake the newest “love interest”. He drove me a little bit up the wall. Aside from that, it was great. We’re gearing up for some major trouble in the future and I can’t wait to see where things go
I love this series so much. The fact that because of her knowledge of ORL Pride is very genre-savvy while at the same time being completely blind to how all the changes she has made to the timeline have changed everyone's feeling will never fail to delight. I almost hope she never twigs to the fact that she's stolen Tara's reverse harem.
Honestly the book was good and mid at the same time. I personally liked the arc of the last novel. Also the romance is really a slow burn. Idk who pride will choose or if this is a y/n situation.
