A priestess of The Morrigan, Xxieda Rolla is a woman who has known success in her business, fulfillment in her family life and is only missing one thing: the love of the man that would have her for always. Sent to Shadow Heights New York by her goddess to find him, she meets the ever tasty, ever surly Dante Barratt. Sparks fly, and so does Amaretto Latte.

Dante, a dealer of rare and illegal commodities, and a very tempestuous fire demon might want the woman who's brown eyes haunt him, but knows better then to get involved with someone who just screams purity. Shes hot, and successful in ways he never could be, and knows a man that just gave away his soul like he did didn't deserve a woman like that.

After a chance encounter on a dark street corner, and an earth shattering kiss, Both are powerless to deny the chemistry between them... until Xxieda tells him her secret: shes a virgin.

Caught between his head and his heart, can Dante accept the fact that Fate sometimes gives us exactly what we really need, not what we think we want?

Being a priestess for Morrigan has caused Xxidea to remain pure for her life. So when Morrigan gifts her with dreams of her soul mate, Xxidea starts her adventure to find him. With only the knowledge of knowing he lives in Shadow Heights, she starts the search for him. Even with not knowing who she was searching for, she certainly wasn’t expecting to meet Dante.
Dante knows that he shouldn’t be with Xxidea; she’s everything that he isn’t. Having sold his soul and being a fire demon, he doesn’t think that he deserves anyone as pure as her. With sparks from her, and flames from him; that doesn’t stop the two of them from thinking of each other and wanting to be together.
Can Xxidea show Dante that he is worthy of her, or will their relationship go up in flames before it completely starts?

After reading this book, the one word that comes to mind is WOWZER!!!! S.A. Price was able to bring the heat with this novel from start to finish. Their ability to describe the different characters, and give them each their own separate personalities, was so well done. They were able to give you enough details about the character’s that it makes you want to read the rest of the series so you could find out what happened to them. (I am really really wondering what is going on with Rhys and I can’t wait to read his story!!)
The sex scene in this book, was written in such a way that it wasn’t what I consider crude, but artfully done. There was just the right amount of heat, and it was almost as if you could feel the passion between Xxidea and Dante.
There is a lot of different characters that are in this story; Goddess’s, Priestess’s, Demons, Mediums, Incubus’s. The list keeps going on with the different paranormals that are mentioned in this book. With that wide of a cast of characters, if you are interested in paranormal at all, there is bound to be something for you in this book.
The twist at the end of the book was OH MY GOSH! I didn’t see that coming at all! But I won’t say anything about it because it will give away part of the book. You will have to read it yourself!
I personally cannot wait to start reading the next book in the series!!

Xxieda is a favorite Priestess of the goddess The Morigan and a successful business woman with a close circle of family and friends. The only thing she is missing is the love of her life who her goddess has promised she will find in Shadow Heights. From the moment she meets Dante she is sure he is the one but it isn't going to be easy to convince him they belong together.

Dante is a gorgeous but moody fire demon who deals in illegal commodities. Having sold his soul he believes that he doesn't deserve someone as successful and pure as Xxieda. Despite numerous misunderstandings between them the attraction they both feel is impossible to deny for long but will they be able to work things out?

Although I have the first 3 stories from the series in my to read list this was actually my first trip into the Eververse and I'll definitely be coming back for more! Even though he was a moody bastard I found Dante impossible to resist - he was incredibly attractive and had a softer side that he tried to keep hidden. I loved the fact that Xxieda wasn't a push over and was able to stand up to his bad temper. Some of the scenes between them when they first meet were hilarious.

There was also a great selection of other characters, some of whom I know have already appeared in previous books (which have definitely jumped up my TBR pile as I am looking forward to getting to know them better) and others who I am hoping will feature in future stores. I really liked Xxieda's sister Peyton and I loved Rhys (Xxieda's best friend) and can't wait to find out more about him. You Burn Me is a romantic love story and although you have to wait for Dante and Xxieda to get it together it's definitely worth the wait!

You Burn Me is a Novella by the Price sisters, Audra and Stella. It takes place in their Eververse world. Even though I haven’t read any of the books and stories set in said world, it was getting a look of a series I had heard a lot about.

Dante if a fire demon, well, actually he has fire demon powers which he gained by selling his soul to a demon. He considers himself a loner and undeserving of love, specially since his business is not considered something to be proud of.

Xxeida is a priestess of the Morrigan andas her day job, she manages her own record label, which allows her to be independent and keep being a kid at the same time. X has been waiting for het Happily Ever After for a long time and her Goddess has finally sent her on a mission to find the man who will be her mate.

Dante and Xxieda meet by accident on a dark street and one kiss is enough to change everything, for both of them. Dante is reticent about getting involved with Xxieda, but she got her eye set on him and she will not give up.

I had a lot of fun with their story, however I had a hard time believing in them for a while. Xxieda is very strong minded and goes after what she wants, but at times I found her coming on to strong and that was very unrealistic for me.

However, since this is fiction I gave her the benefit of the doubt and let it all play out. They have a real hard time in getting together, everything seems to be conspiring against it, but the end was definitely worth it.

You Burn Me was a fun short read and it got me curious about reading the other books in the Eververse series!

X is one of the coolest characters out there, she is a warrior priestess for the goddess Morrigan. Not only is X a witch but she also owns her own record company, which lands her in a small town. Go figure, Morrigan wants X there for a reason…to meet her soul mate. Dante is not looking for anyone, infact he would rather be left alone. He’s a dealer aka fencer, so the less people know about him the better..nevermind he’s a fire demon.

I loved this story. I was in an all mighty reading funk of epic puportions when Stella offered me a copy of You Burn Me. I was slightly afraid of reading it, due to the aforementioned reading funk, but thank goddess I did because it broke the funk. X was an awesome character as was Dante, but my heart is with Rhys the lead singer of the band X singed to her label and took to NY with her. Dying for his story!

Anyways, the storyline was awesome & what made me love it was it’s REAL. Stella & Audra don’t make their characters fall into bed right away, oh no, they have to work for it. There is conflict, there is tension & it works so damn well together! Plus, it’s got muscians & music biz talk, could it not be anymore perfect for me?!

You Burn Me is an excellent way for new readers to get a taste of Stella & Audra Price’s writing style, and for previous readers you’ll love the twists & turns the ladies have in store for this series!

Xxieda owns a great record label, and has signed a great up and coming band. On the outside it looks like she has it all, except love. She is a priestess of Morrigan. Her goddess has told her to remain pure until the man she is destined to be with comes into her life. She hopes she meets him soon.

Dante acquires priceless objects for a living, he steals them and sells them, but it's a living. One day on the street he meets an intriguing girl named Xxieda. Having recently given up his soul for special abilities, it wasn't a good time to pursue her, she was to innocent to handle it.

Both are resistant to pursue the other but can't seem to help themselves. He thinks she can't handle his lifestyle and she wonders if he is the one she has been saving herself for.

What will happen? Read it and find out for yourself!

After this book, I highly recommend reading the book Giving Up the Ghost, which is the first book in the 13 Shades of Red series

4.5 Stars for You Burn Me, this Novella although being a quick read still allows you to get to know Dante and Xxieda in the story and I've loved revisiting them in the 13 Shades of Red Series.

Go Xxieda! A Priestess for The Morrigan and also owner of "Will It Records" Xxieda knows how to take charge and when she decides on one surly fire Demon neither one really knows what their getting into. Xxieda is a strong, successful, and sexy woman. She's worked for what she has and isn't afraid to fight for what she wants.

Dante thinks he knows what's best but when his heart over rides his brain things get complicated. Dante is hot both figuratively and literally, be sure to have a cool drink when you pick up this book.

Excellent Read! Hot!

I totally love this Eververse series; each story carries you away into another happy ever after. Dante, Dante, Dante you light my fire. Xxieda (priestess/witch) and Dante (fire demon) story was fast paced and a wonderful read. I loved how Xxieda tamed her Hot Demon and how Morrigan (Goddess) made appearances to both of them. Even though there wasn’t a lot of sex scenes in there the story has you so captured you will not care, but in the end I promise you, you will not be disappointed with the sizzling hot night of passion that was long awaited for. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. This series Rocks!

So I have no idea how Stella and Audra do it, but they did it again You Burn Me is unbelievable. Dante is on fire, XXieda is amazing and Rhys is again outstanding. I honestly can't get enough of Rhys. For Dante and X fate is a funny thing what you think maybe destined can be changed, it only takes one action to change the course. Dante unwillingly changed their destinies for the better. I love Dante and X together and finding out their story.I am going to reread Giving up the Ghost now that I know more about them and besides it's a hell of book!! Do yourself a favor download both don't miss out!

This is a tale of the Eververse, but I read it because it kicks things off for the 13 Shades of Red Series.
At its heart this is a love story between a witch and a demon. A very interesting courtship commences between the two.
The Price sister's know how to keep you on your toes, and even threw a twist in the final chapter that I wasn't expecting.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and now I want to go back and read other books in the Eververse.

This was the third book by S. A. Price that I've read, this being the prequel to one of the others. I always enjoy Stella & Audra's paranormal romances. The stories are always fun with sassy heroines & hunky heroes. They are steamy reads, but always have a good plot as well. I read this book in one sitting. The only reason I took off a star is because their books are always full of typos & misspellings. If they had a better editor, I would gladly give 5 stars instead of 4.

How can you call yourself a writer when you don't know how to capitalise words properly and do not know the difference between "your" and "you're".

The story had potential but the bad grammar and spelling let it down on so many levels.

I do not even really know where to begin with this review. While I did like the story line and for the most part, the characters, I struggled through this book. It appeared that the book was never edited, as there were many, many mistakes in it. There were spelling, punctuation and careless mistakes that I am not sure how they were missed.

I saw that there were other books that went along with this, but were not necessarily a series. I have not read any of the other books and despite liking the plot line of this book, I would not read the other ones.

The main character Xxieda (Eddy - not sure where that name came from) is a band manager, who is also on a mission from her Morrigan. She is sent to find the guy that she is meant to be with, the guy that she is supposed to fall in love with, the guy that is going to take her virginity. Yes, it is another book with a twenty something year old still being a virgin. Honestly, I am so over this type of thing as it really is not realistic. Once she meets Dante, a demon, a guy that sold his soul for the lifestyle, her world gets a whole lot more complicated. The beginning of their relationship is very tough, neither getting along with one another. When Dante finally starts opening up, letting Xxieda in, everything starts to ease up. Then secrets are spilled about her virginity, about the fact that she was sent to find her "true love" by her Morrigan and everything starts going downhill again. Slowly but surely, a relationship forms and the two start getting closer and delving deeper into one another.

Unfortunately, I did not like the characters. I did not feel like you ever got to know them. Xxieda was supposed to be some strong person that was able to handle her own, but I felt like all she did was cry and constantly got herself into messy situations for absolutely no reason. Dante is supposed to be hard, complicated and someone who does not let anyone walk all over him. However, I felt like his character fell flat and he was not the hard and strong person that he should have been. The one character that I did like was Rhys and I realize that he was only a side character, but I thought he was hilarious and added to the book.

Honestly, I would not recommend this book and it is mostly because of the amount of mistakes made in this book, as I did like the story line in general. However, the writing was just awful and it stops me from wanting to look into the other books at this point.

Despite all of this, I would still read other things by S.A. Price! I am currently doing teasers and promos for their book This Is Forever.

I received a copy of You Burn Me for free in exchange for my honest review.

I loved this book, It is the story of XXieda and Dante. XXieda is a priestess of the Morgan and a very prominent woman , She has a brilliant career in the music business and has the love of her family. There is just one thing missing the love a good man. In walks Dante a hot and I mean hot man . And when they meet sparks literally fly. As she runs into him not once but twice . First time she dumps hot latte all over him , which I found quite hysterical . The second time unmentionables went flying all over the place . Things keep them apart but when they get together they will never part again,
I love this series of books , the author writes about the supernaturals in a way that is fun. She takes us on a fun filled adrenaline fueled ride . Her characters are such strong people and when they get together they become even stronger. I mean take XXieda she is very strong and goes after what she wants . She can handle the guys in the band with an iron fist and then turn on the sex kitten in a blink of an eye. Then there is Dante the man who is on XXieda's radar. He is tall and sexy and hot , in so many ways . He is a fire Demon and oh sooooooo sexy. He wages as war between his head and heart when he meets XXieda and what happens will melt your panties off . You will want to climb him like a spider monkey .
The rest of the band make an appearance to spice things up , Rhys . Winter and the rest of them are rocking out and having fun .
So if you want a great fun read for your summer reading list . This book is the one for you . So check it out

Xxieda Rolla is a virgin favored priestess of the goddess The Morrigan, and also owns a very successful record company. The Morrigan has sent her to the small town of Shadow Heights to find her soulmate that she has seen many times in dreams, the only problem is she’s never seen his face.

Dante Barratt is a fire demon that deals in priceless objects. If somebody’s willing to pay enough for it, he’ll find it. But he also just recently sold his soul for his demon abilities. He deserves to live his life being surly and alone.

When a chance encounter has Xxieda and Dante running into each other, Xxieda is convinced the demon is the one she’s looking for. Despite the vibe she’s trying to give off, Dante can’t help but see how pure Xxieda is, and she definitely deserves someone better than him. How long can he resist? Despite seemingly everything in the universe trying to keep them apart, Xxieda won’t give up.

You Burn Me is a short story, but it gives you a great look into the Eververse world, and some glimpses into the 13 Shades of Red series as well. I absolutely love the characters the Price sisters introduce us to, and every time I read a new story, I get a new favorite. Keep ‘em coming!

You Burn Me

XXieda Rolla is a priestess to the Morrigan. XXieda is extremely successful in her professional life but the love once foretold that would be Xxieda's still eludes her.

Dante Barrett is a fire demon. A dealer or rare etiquettes and not always legal he is not a forever type of guy and likes to keep it that way.

As Xxieda gets closer to heading out with 13 Shades on their tour her recurring dream starts to become more and more vivid. After a conversation with her sister XXieda is hopeful that maybe the Morrigan is going to bless her with the man destined to her. Once in Shadow Heights Xxieda runs in Dante literally not once but twice and although their encounters have not been ideal there is still something that sparks between them. Is Dante the man the Morrigan has foretold for Xxieda or has another power come into play and will the Morrigan stand in the way.

I loved reading You Burn Me, the story is engaging and the character are will have you engrossed until the very end.

You Burn Me is part of the Eververse series. Xxieda is a priestess to goddess The Morrigan. She has been sent to find her soul mate. She believes Dante is he. Dante has his own thoughts about that. He does not feel worthy of her. He has many excuses but Xxieda wears him down until he agrees to go out with her.

I liked Xxieda and Dante. They are good together and made for each other. I felt I knew them although this is the first Eververse book I read. I liked all the characters. The story was also good. I wanted to know what happened to these characters. I want to know what will be happening in the future with the different characters.

The proofreading and editing hurt the story. They need improving. Ms. Price created wonderful characters and an interesting story. Both deserve to have the best proofreading and editing available. I hope this improves in future books. These characters are memorable. I look forward to seeing them again.

I read the synopsis and thought that this might be a good book. However, by the time I reached 24% on my kindle version of it, I was very irritated. I don't mind one or two spelling or grammatical errors but this book has tons of them. The authors used defiantly instead of definitely, obliviously instead obviously, were instead of where and so many more. The sentences didn't make sense because the definitions of the words used were totally different from the words that should have been there. Unfortunately, I am gonna have to DNF this book. The story line would have been a good one with a bit of proofreading.

Absolutely love this book..

I love Dante and Xxaida's story. X is a witch who has given herself to her goddess. When she meets Dante she knows this is who she was sent to find. As much as Dante fights it their passion is always on the surface. If you love Stella then you will love this as a beginning of the series.
