Well, this was an okay book for what it was. Basically, you read 6 quotes each day. Some of them are quite funny, some of them serious, and some of them are frankly stupid. As a morning ritual, I read to my wife, and this was our book for 2015. It did not take long before we changed the title, (among ourselves) to Daily Dose of Knowledge: Random Thoughts. While some of these quotes can be categorized as brilliant, those quotes are few and far between. The pages are listed without specific days, so the reader will see: "Week 1, Sunday", etc. instead of January 1st. This can be nice because it does not mean that a person reading a page a day has to start the book on January 1st. However, a drawback is that the quotes don't coincide with particular days, such as Memorial Day or Christmas. The bottom line is that I did not think that this was as good a volume as the original Daily Dose of Knowledge that I read last year. Unless a person has an affinity for quotations, I can't think of any other person/people I would recommend it to. It just was not the kind of book I enjoyed reading a page a day from.
