In this short story - More than 4 million babies are born in the United States each year, but in the near future, that number is regulated by the government. Babies are created in test tubes, and leased to those deserving. It’s controlled, and safe. Until there’s a glitch in the system, and 1 million leased newborns have to be recalled.Victor is a Bringer, called upon to go in to the slums and destroy one of the Recalled, but what Victor doesn’t know is that there’s a part of the population hiding a secret, and for a man who has never made a mistake, Victor is about to make the biggest one of them all.
