Teachers at all levels, educational administrators, and trainers will find this top-selling book very useful in helping land a great job in education. This new edition includes all new and updated resumes, updated internet job search resources, and a new chapter on cover letters. This carefully chosen collection of 180 resumes has a diverse set of samples for all the top education and training jobs, including pre-K to high school teachers, special education teachers, librarians and media directors, coaches/physical education teachers, principals, superintendents, training professionals, education majors, and post-secondary instructors.
The bulk of the book is sample resumes with gorgeous layouts written by professional resume writers. There are also chapters that describe basic do's and don'ts. Some of it is common sense, but I will say that my old resume (written before reading this book) looks like a pile of garbage next to my updated resume. I'll update this review when my new resume actually gets me a job :)
EDIT: With my new resume, I applied to about 10 places, got four calls for interviews, and was hired by the second school I interviewed at. Woo woot!
