A fine topical-approach supplement, a bit dated but still good to see how different theories answer some key questions in personality studies. It's just the scientific literature always leads the author to reach the moderate position.

The last chapter on the personal and societal factors personality theories, and the controversy of IQ, may be of interests to a reader into the social influence on, and of, psychology.
