Not an exciting read by any means, but that's not the point. The authors do a nice job of summarizing the state of clinical study of BDD, at least within the CBT guild. They also have some good suggestions about assessment and treatment. I thought the chapter on behavioral activation was especially interesting. However, the prose is mediocre and humorless, and the book in general suffers from the empiricist aspirations that seem to characterize CBT theorists.
