Gracias a los cuentos cortos y poesia en este libro me quede enamorada de la literatura en espanol....el libro da una buena introduccion a los movimentos literarios y los maestros de sus tiempos. Al terminar el libro uno se queda queriendo mas! He leyedo este tomo mas que cinco veses!

This book was originally a textbook for my Spanish Literature class, where I learned about the most fascinating genre of literature: magic realism.

This is the first book I literally read to pieces. I've had to order an additional copy over the years. It's interesting to see how one's perspective and understanding of the stories changes.
