I rated this book 5 stars because it has helped me a great deal to make sense of my professor's lectures. He's a smart guy but his ability to communicate it to mere mortals is somewhat limited but this book helped to make his lectures a lot more understandable for me. There are great examples and solutions to the problems in the same section so you can work it out and see how you did without flipping all around the book. Very useful.
Well, to be honest, enough is enough. I hit the wall on this one as soon as we started getting into, well, "calculus." Just not my bag. I'll leave this stuff to the specialists and concentrate on the things I'm good at. Mainly, the humanities. But I'm happy to have given it a shot. Sometimes the best way forward involves looking behind some closed doors.
