Australian romance author Ally Blake loves reading and strong coffee, porch swings and dappled sunshine, sparkly notebooks and soft, dark pencils.

She also adores writing love stories. Having sold over four million copies of her Harlequin Mills and Boon novels worldwide, she is living her dream.

Alongside one husband, three gloriously rambunctious kids, and too many animal companions to count, Ally lives and writes in the leafy western suburbs of Brisbane.

Opposites Attract

On the surface no two people could be more different than Meh Kelly and Zach Jones. But when they looked inside each other the differences were all on the surface. You'll really enjoy watching them each other.

The scores for this book just go to show what a matter of taste any artistic form is about because I loved this. I normally avoid cute baby/child stories like the plague, but this was Ally Blake so I gave it a go and wanted to finish reading about the Kelly family.

Now I'm used to being entertained by Ally Blake's wit, enjoying her young, quirky heroines and drooling over her dark, brooding heroes. But this book snuck inside me somehow and I really felt empathy with the heroine. It's that strike at my heart that earns this book its stars. Well- written, as you'd expect from Ally Blake, I found pacing and description spot-on for the story at hand.

I didn't notice an overloading of introspection, and I'm not a fan of it either, the heat level was appropriate for a Romance; no, I can't find fault!

What I liked
Good read, excellent writing ( AB s style is funny, fresh & breezy ), exotic surroundings beautifully described, deep emotions, likeable characters you just can't stop yourself sympathizing with. AB did a great job exposing their inner thoughts & giving plausible reasons for their behaviors
What I didn't like
Very long introspections from h/H, long conversations between h/H that took pages and pages, repetitions, time and time again, of the reasons why he shouldn't do this, why she should do that, all slowing the story s path, stalling the plot and contributing to a feeling of stagnation.
