I read, and reread several chapters of this book. it has awesome advice for people going through divorce as well. I don't recomend getting a divorce, but if you get dumped by someone because they fall in love with someone else, this is a very helpful book.

Read it for the first chapter. The best advice is there, with scriptures for support. After that, the book becomes a cathartic journey for this twice divorced former singer to express her opinions on relationships from a female only perspective. The fact that I related with her first chapter was apparently an accident. Male viewpoints are tacked on, often written with the "men are emotional babies" bias. It is not to say that only men are reflected poorly, however. This memoir mines James' life for the best worst-case scenarios from friends of both sexes.
