I bought this for my neighbor children but had to read it first! Lots of good information! I learned a few things! I read the newer versión entitled “Liberty!”

I loved reading this book. I think it does a great job of letting the reader know what the causes of the American Revolution were. This book also gives little side notes about things that happened during this period of rebellion like, "if a stamp tax collector refused to resign, he was sometimes chased out of town by a mob"

This particular text provided great insight on teh causes of the American Revolutionary War. Each cause was broken down into its own section. The book is great for recapping and learning about the beginning of the American Revolution.
