In this first issue of Vampire Hunter, Jake discovers that he has been cursed with the Sight. An ability to see the half-there's among people who are slightly transparent as if they are slowly fading away. Unsure if he's sick or crazy, Jake embarks on a frantic Internet research mission to find out why he's able to see these people only to find that he's not the only one. After a strange encounter with a local shop owner, Jake soon discovers that the Sight enables him to see much more.

Nice little short to read when you have less time to read than you like. Read this in about 15 minutes or so.Nice writing, and for kids like me, loner, called goth/emo, you can relate, especially when you're kind of kid that doesn't let the names get to you. I liked it and will be looking for the second issue on Kobo.
Jake finds himself seeing things that most people don't see, with more questions than answers. He's an unwilling participant in an ancient war between light and dark.
If you want something to read that is short and quick, pick this up, I don't think you'd be disappointed, at least I wasn't.
Jake finds himself as an an unwilling participant in being gifted with the Sight--that of being able to glimpse those who are not what they seem to be.
Granted that the idea sounds promising. Unfortunately, this story needs to be developed fully in order to be appreciated by readers.
