Numerous errors in the assignation of sample pages and introductory blurbs to artists, little new information in said blurbs, all of the sample pages are left untranslated, and even at the time it was published there were online guides that surpassed it as a reference resource. I haven't watched the dvd (interviews) that it came with, so maybe that's worthwhile, but the book alone isn't worth the price.
The coverage was pretty broad, but it was incredibly shallow, and there were several mistakes, like artwork being mixed up or text not edited properly. Also, the text got really creepy when talking about eromanga. There was a lot of commentary on how women were drawn, and none on men. The strength of the book is in the production design and paper quality.
