It’s not great. It’s super short. It gives you instructions to draw each character. There’s a pretty limited set of poses for each character. Maybe 1 or 2. It does use figure construction to build each character. There’s only 3 steps though. The detail jump in the last step is huge.

I’m not really interested in anyone other than tinker bell, so I won’t pick this up again.

I chose to pair Disney Fairies: New Friends with this book simply because I remember as a child reading stories and then wanting to learn how to draw the pictures myself. Many children enjoy these books because in my opinion it makes them feel artistic.

Some wonderful pictures and help, but as far as a how-to drawing book, it's rather limited.
