This is a great book for real young children or children who struggle with writing. It was NOT a good fit for my 4-5 yr old. It was too simple and deemed "boring" by him. I don't like how the letters are formed - I can't see anyone ending up with very good or legible handwriting in the future in learning these letters. I am sure it is a personal opinion: but that is why there are 'reviews.' I can see its value for some children, but buyer be cautioned: it is NOT for everyone.

Perfect for young children (ages 3 or 4) who are just starting to learn fine motor skills and want to begin forming letters. Simple sayings for each letter to help the children remember how to form them. Taught in an order that helps prevent reversals.
A great foundation for more formal writing.

This book only works on capital letters and numerals.

This was a great fit for my oldest, but not for my middle girl. I do think I will try it with my son, as he is more similar to my oldest. I do not plan to follow the entire series, just the first or second books as a preschool introduction.
