Hilarious and quick read from the universe of Queen Betsy. I'd love to see more with Boo and the Boy Blunder!

Lots of fun

The only thing that I disliked about this was that just as it was really becoming a fun read it ended! I hope this group of characters are in at least one (or more!) books in the series! The story starts off a little bit slowly but once we’re introduced to all the characters we have some fun watching them meld before the story sadly ends. But at least they were aware of Queen Betsy so they’re possibly going to be back…

This was a cute little story. I thought it was cute, and would like to see more of Boo and Gregory, even Boy Blunder was funny.

I like the witty tone Davidson manages to set. Always creates this kind of atmosphere, funny relatable interactions, kickassery and action without the usual "tricks to draw the reader in for dummies"shenanigans. I don't think creating this effortless charm is actually as easy as Davidson make it seem. She is a pro. And I loved Eddie here, only a few lines in he stole the show.

Would probably give it a 3.5, mostly because it was so short. I really liked Eddie - he was a trip, and I would have liked to learn more about Boo and Gregory.

It's weird. I find myself struggling to finish reading this short story! I don't enjoy it as much as the other book. The story is about a vampire hunter named Boo. The Boy Blunder refers to her sidekick, Eddie, whom she saved during one of her many vampire hunting trips.

I liked Boo. Her physical appearance gives mysterious vibes, and people are intrigued by her. Plus, she also has remarkable skills up her sleeves. Eddie is enthusiastic, active and talkative, and like Boo, I find him quite annoying.

Because this is a short story, I don't blame the author for the lack of characters development. So, forgive me for not liking Eddie or remembering the vampire's name who pair up with Boo 😂. Nevertheless, I hope they will join the Betsy team in the main book.

This novella is set in the Undead world. Boo is a vampire Hunter. She looks like a ghost - she's an albino. She's pantingly gorgeous and kills vampires. It's contract work. One evening, at a bar in Boston, she saves a young man from being a victim and suddenly she has an ardent follower. She doesn't want an ardent follower but he won't go away and she finally agrees he can be her sidekick that night. Hence, the Boy Blunder. Made for the job, he is not. She takes him to a comedy club where she is meeting her potential boss for the next kill. It turns out he's (the boss) is a vampire stand-up comic. Meeting Boo is a dream come true and he really does want to pay her to kill a very nasty vamp. She doesn't work for vampires. She certainly doesn't kiss vampires or sleep with vampires or do anything but stake them and make them go *poof*. But her new boss has a few things going for him and if they can keep the Boy Blunder safe...
