Meg Cabot was born on February 1, 1967, during the Chinese astrological year of the Fire Horse, a notoriously unlucky sign. This book combined parts 5 and 6 of The Princess Diaries, and I really enjoyed both books (6 probably more than 5 due to Mia's constant complaining), even more than the previous one or two! I especially liked how Mia turned out to be really good at public speaking, despite her incredibly large amount of (second) thoughts, and I am really curious about how things will turn out between her and Michael (now a "college boy"). Part 7, here I come!

Note: This review is for the 5TH half of this book, as I didnt get around to reading the 6th.
I reckon the whole thing about her complaining about the prom kinda ruined in for me. It takes up waaay too much of the book. Though I guess that's what diaries are for..but still.
So yeah.

Superb book.Just loved it.I am expecting more books like this.Actually to tell the truth i think i am a lot like Mia(leaving the princess part of course)! So a big thanks for Meg cabot for writing books which are very much related to our own lives.

Princess in Pink (#5) was annoying since Mia complained a lot.
I liked Princess in Training (#6) much more, but the series becomes a bit more than PG 13.

I really hate every single book in this series--they all read like an idle 1997 IM chat session between two 13 year-olds. No matter how old Mia gets it's still the same tone, no growth or maturity.
