I’m only on page like 67 and I loveeeee this woman lololol
Her thought pattern and way of solving this issue is brilliant hysterical and perfect. This is just great so far!

Pavel has committed the capital sin. He has stolen over millions worth of diamonds from his boss. That in itself is grave but the fact that Pavel, the idiot, stole from his boss who heads a Bratva family is beyond moronic as well as lethal.
Leonid, the boss in question has questioned Pavel untill he is blue in the face with no success. He is placed in front of a very hard choice. Keep Pavel and continue to grill and beat him or kill him and grab his daughter Arina and get his money from her mother, Yeva, the idiot's ex-wife.
He decides to go with option number two.
The only problem is that Yeva hates her ex, has fled from him with their daughter and comes from a family not unfamiliar with the workings of Bratva. It is not because she is a qualified nurse working for a governmental hospital, that anyone should underestimate her specially when her only and well loved daughter. Is in danger.
This is my first book by this author and I am not disappointed. The book is well written, the plot is properly researched in the ways of the Bratva world and the author uses her gift by throwing into the mix, violence, deceipt, hate, love, the lengths a mother will go to save her child's life.
and a curious series of twists and turns that makes it a 5 Stars rated book that I highly recommend.

Ero in blocco da giorni, cambiato più libri che calzini, tutti lasciati dopo poche pagine perché non avevo proprio testa né voglia. Questo romanzo breve però è arrivato al momento giusto: si è lasciato leggere in una sera e almeno mi ha sbloccata.
Siamo nel mondo della mafia russa: un boss potente, Leonid, a cui hanno sottratto dei diamanti, decide di rapire la figlia adolescente di Pavel, l’uomo che l’ha tradito. La speranza è che la madre della ragazza, un’infermiera lettone, consegni il denaro o i diamanti. Ma lui non ha fatto i conti con la disperazione di una madre: al momento dello scambio, lei ribalta la situazione e rapisce lui. E qui inizia il bello: sarà la sindrome di Stoccolma, sarà che è un romance, ma durante la prigionia i due finiscono per innamorarsi.
Il libro non mi ha lasciato nulla di particolare, ma ha fatto il suo mestiere: mi ha distratta, fatta sorridere per l’assurdità di certe situazioni, e soprattutto mi ha permesso di portare a termine finalmente una lettura. È il classico hate to lovers che si legge veloce, pieno di improbabilità ma anche di quella tensione tipica del genere. Non lo consiglierei come imperdibile, ma come parentesi leggera per ripartire dopo un blocco ci sta.

I enjoyed immensely this mafia read with an interesting twist in that it's a female, Yeva who has the upper hand against Leonid the guy out to collect on a debt owed by her ex-husband. When her daughter is taken by the Bratva she turns the tables and takes Leonid prisoner to secure her return.
I loved the push and pull between them, you could feel the palpable chemistry building as they talked and built a trust of sorts as they tried to deal with each other. The moral of the story is never underestimate the power of a woman cornered and angry especially when she's a mother out to protect her child!

Great start to a series
Leonid & Yeva's story is a brilliant read. Her shonky ex hubby borrowed money, couldn't pay it back so the people he owed money to decided to kidnap our teenage daughter. The kidnappers have messed with the wrong mum. Yeva will do anything to get her daughter back & decides to kidnap their boss. She's running out of time to find what they are after before they find her. It doesn't help that she is distracted by his 6.5 foot hunky body. Will she get her daughter back & what about the attraction with Leonid?.

Twisted Lover by Celeste Riley is the mind-blowing story of Leonine and Yeva. Leonine is sent to collect a debt. From her ex-husband. Leonine kills him and looks for Yeva…and her daughter. He WILL collect. But, she is a cornered, furious, protective mother….and she could be more than he bargained for.
Wow!!! This story was soooooooooo freaking good!!!! Loved Yeva’s fierceness, strength, indomitable spirit, mama bear protectiveness, and ability to do anything to protect her child. Also, appreciated Leonine’s slow, unexpected thoughts as he goes through this situation with Yeva. Unbelievable great story-telling….absolutely riveting!!!!

J’ai beaucoup aimé ce tome. J’ai vu une belle évolution dans le personnage principal masculin. Alors oui le livre est court car c’est une nouvelle mais cela ne m’a pas empêcher d’aimer le livre.
Sophie est une femme qui a voulu ressentir de l’amour et qui la payer très chère. Elle a vu tout le monde se retourner contre elle. Elle accord trop d’importance à l’image qu’on les autres d’elle même.
Valentin est un homme mystérieux, froid, distant. Mais je l’aime beaucoup car il se rend compte de ce qu’il fait mais il ne sait pas pourquoi car il ne connaît pas ce sentiment.

I really enjoyed this story about Yeva and Leonid. Leonid orders her daughter kidnapped, so Yeva kidnaps Leonid and has a plan to get her daughter back. But of course it is never that easy and thus begins a wild story. Yeva is an amazing characters and what she will do for her daughter is breathtaking. And Leonid is hot and cannot believe what has happened. I was hooked from the beginning and had to see how it would end. It is a bit dark (it is a mafia story) but does have a good story.

Loved, Loved reading Twisted Lover. This book was so good I couldn’t put it down. Yeva and Leonid’s story was action packed and steamy HOT too. This is actually the first book that I’ve read by author Celeste Riley and now I can’t wait to read the next book Vicious Lover to see what happens next. Awesome Book!!

The one person you don't cross is a mother protecting their child. When Yeva's, ex husbands debts lead to their daughter being taken by the Bratva, Yeva takes their boss Leonid as her prisoner and bargaining chip to get her daughter back. But the more time together the more closer they become. Well written steamy, desires, slow burn, captive, bratva, romance.

Decent enemies to lovers mafia read!!
This was an interesting mafia read where the woman has the upper hand which I loved! Getting to see them deal and talk with each other, slowly building trust and chemistry. The love scenes were pretty hot and I like how the story played out. The ending was good and all loose ends were tied up!

Me gustó bastante hasta cierto punto.
No es de mi agrado el tema de que Arina se tenga que casar SI o SI con Konstantin.
Yeva nunca le explicó bien y solo dijo algo tipo: "cosas de adolescentes" ¿¡COSAS DE ADOLESCENTES!? Literalmente ella esperaba ser rescatada y volver a tener una vida normal pero derepente lleva Yeva diciendo "Me casaré con Leo" ¿¡COMO POR!?
De resto me encantó.

Leonid ha sempre concluso i suoi affari e quando qualcuno si rifiuta di pagare i debiti lui un modo lo trova lo stesso. D’altronde se l’uomo non può pagare la sua famiglia può farlo per lui.
Yeva è scappata dal marito per poter vivere in pace e in sicurezza ma anche da morto lui riesce a causargli problemi. Ha un enorme debito da pagare per colpa sua e ora sua figlia è stata rapita.
Yeva farà di tutto per farla tornare a casa sana e salva, anche mettersi contro e rapire uno degli uomini più pericolosi che ci sia.
Leonid non pensava che quella donna lo avrebbe rapito e torturato per ottenere ciò che voleva.
Tra i due la tensione cresce e si ritrovano ad avvicinarsi più di quello che dovrebbero date le circostanze. Ma al cuore è difficile resistere.
Un romanzo diverso dal solito che cattura il lettore dall’inizio alla fine. Due protagonisti forti che hanno intenzione di ottenere ciò che vogliono in qualsiasi modo. 4⭐️
