The start of the Coronavirus pandemic of 2020 caused disruption, death, economic uncertainty ... and poetry. This collection was written during the initial lockdown period and each poem and reflection are attempts to capture the state of the world and the historical events that occurred during that tumultuous time. Subjects covered include heroism, depression, violence, kindness, racism, fear and uncertainty, humanity, the fight against racism and most importantly - hope. The virus pandemic has drawn out the best and the worst in all of us - and this collection of poems commemorates the dark and the light sides of our lives during the pandemic.
