I thought this book was really good. It had all my favorite things in it like racing, dirt bikes, and major competitions which I think is really cool.

There was this guy named Randy, and he loved to race. The reason why he loved to race is because his dad raced back in the day. He was off to go race when he saw this kid named Bozo by his bike, and so Randy went to go see what he was doing to his bike. He hid behind some old tires and a camper, and he saw him messing with his carburetor. Just as Randy was about to go and teach him a lesson to not mess with his bike, the gun went off to let all racers know that the race was about to start. So Bozo ran off while Randy was stuck trying to fix his bike. When he finished fixing his bike, he rode down to the start line. All the other twenty cycles were there waiting and the time was going down. As the time went down, Randy was thinking in his head "I'm going to win this". As the clock hits zero, all twenty cycles roar out of the start chute. Randy races toward the first turn on his yellow dirt bike. He looks behind and sees this other racer, Bozo, his enemy because he messed with his bike. But that's not the only thing he did. Bozo liked to cheat and do dirty tricks like get really close to the other bikers and make them nervous, so that they fall off of their bikes and lose. He likes to toy with their minds and say things to them like "I'm going to make you fall boy" or if you beat him in a race he makes sure that you won't race because he messes with your bike. So Randy looked back at Bozo and grits his teeth and steps on the gas, and they both know only one of them can come out the winner.

I would rate this book a 5 star because it teaches the lesson to never give up and to keep pushing towards your goal. The book also teaches the lesson to never cheat because the only thing that could happen to you when you cheat is you lose.

I would recommend this book to people who like to race like I do. Boys would really enjoy this book. Age 12 and up would be able to read this book because it is easy to read and understand. This will show them just because you lose doesn't mean you have to be a jerk to the person that beats you.
