I have finally finished a two year project - reading the Mishna beginning to end - accomplished! Mishna is often referred to as the oral torah - but it is not same as written torah. It is more interpretations on different commandment in the written torah dealing with tithes, clean and unclean etc. This was a one time effort - I will stick to reading the scriptures, much more fruitful.

Good translation but the introduction is worth the price of the book.

The translation is actually not that great, but if you're looking for a one-volume edition of the Mishnah and you don't like Neusner's strange formatting, this is the option for you.
