Her Unexpected Guardian Angels -
Casey wasn’t in a place to start a relationship when she met Rock, but she felt an attraction towards him that she tried to keep hidden. Rock didn’t do relationships, but he felt a pull towards Casey that he just couldn’t ignore. Unfortunately, just as they start getting to know each other, Casey’s ex-boyfriend returns to disrupt her life, but as luck would have it, Rock was already aware of her past, so he was able to save her, so they could start a life together.

All I can say at this point is that Jessa Joy has outdone herself again with this amazing story, that grabbed my attention from the beginning and didn’t let go until I reached the end. This book was a worthwhile read.

A Quick MC Read

Casey and her daughter are on the run hiding from her abusive ex and her next-door neighbor happens to be one hot alpha biker who is the Prez of his MC. I loved this quick fun book which was more sunshine than darkness. What a great couple!

I get that it’s a novella. And I went into it expecting every thing to happen fast. But I felt that the author tried to fit a way-too-large plot line in too few pages. Between the kidnapping, the landowner, the romance, the injury and other ideas I forget, 57 pages was definitely not enough to make all these ideas worthwhile. They felt more like an add-on just because and kept me from caring for the c characters. So slightly disappointed because if the author had focused on just one thing it would have worked better for me.

Casey just moved to town with her daughter. They had a puppy & had looked everywhere but then her neighbor came over with the puppy and found out the puppy was actually in his home.
Casey was stunned by how handsome he was. He was tall, had tattoos and drove a motor cycle. All things her mom warned her about but Casey thought he was handsome and rugged. After getting the puppy back the two talked for a bite and Casey mntioned she needed a job. Well Rock just happened he needed a waitress at the club ad told her to come down and see if she'd like it.
Rock was thrilled when she showed up and Casey felt like she belonged even though she just met everyone.
Casey was helping the next night at a private party and she just felt like something wasnt right but Rock put her mind at ease. That night Rock made sure she got home. Even though she stayed the night with him she left early. When she got home she was greeted by her ex who was an cop and thought he could get away with what he was about to do. When Rock woke up and Casey wasn't there he noticed her car was missing and he actually put a tracker fab on her keys just in case he ever had to find her like now. He found er with her ex and took care of the ex so he would no longer bother her. It was at this moment she knew she loved him. Rock promised to take care of her always. From that day forward they were a couple.

Curvy Girl and the Bad Boy Next Door is the second book in the Curvy Girls Date series and it is a quick and entertaining read. The story is about Casey, a single mother with a six year old daughter who just moved to town. She escaped an abusive relationship by slipping out of the city she lived in with the help of her mother and her cousin. Rock is the President of the Wild Cobras MC. He is dedicated to the club and his men and also fighting the take over of the town by the new Mayor, Sheriff and a land developer they are in cahoots with. Rock finds out that he has a new neighbor from his VP, as he saw her when he was taking a drive through the town. When he goes home to get some sleep he was not expecting to find a puppy on his couch, but he soon discovers it belongs to the new neighbor. One look at her and he knows he has to make her his so he goes about doing it by offering her a job at the clubs bar on the outskirts of town. Casey is attracted to the older, big, muscled, and tattooed man but she has sworn off his type of man, plus she has to lie low to make sure her ex does not find her. What happens to these two is a wild ride with action, danger, suspense, romance, passion and more.

This is part of the Curvy Girls Date series each book can be read as a standalone, can be read in under an hour or so has sexy and the curvy girl who captures his attention. Casey curvy girl escaping an abusive ex arriving to a new town trying to get back on her feet, new place and looking for a job when her next door neighbor offers her a job bartending. Rock sexy as all get out tattooed motorcycle riding bad boy with a sweet tooth for his curvy neighbor offering her a job is his way of getting to know her and she brings out all his protectiveness. The more they work together the closer they grow the stronger the magnetic pull between them grows but what happens when her ex. shows up, will it be too much for him to handle or will he protect her, will she trust in what they have enough to tell him everything, and can they find happiness?.

Ah! The Bad Boy wins every time!

Casey has learnt the hard way that the clean cut "nice guy" can hide a multitude of sins and danger, and she is still running from the last one!
So why does her traitorous heart and body want the Bad Boy next door, he's huge, tatted, gruff and growly, he can't possibly be good for her...can he? Rock may be all those things, but he's also considerate, gentle (with her) and protective. She's not stupid, as the President of an MC he has a dark and shady past, makes grown men shake in their boots and will kill when needed....but women and children are to be protected at all costs and she definitely needs Rock's protection. I love the flirting, the confusion Rock feels, the anticipation and the steamy moments as the MC rallies to protect one of their own. It's short, it's sweet, it's steamy and it's dangerous... what's not to love!

This was a cute story. I’m a sucker for a non-dark MC romance so this hit the spot. I loved the MMC’s inner soft side and protectiveness and the strength of the FMC.

I do wish there was a little more story, especially about the MMC. I’d have loved to get to know her daughter more too and to have a little more relationship building, especially after the dramatic scene at the end. Also, there was only the one steamy scene.

If you like MC stories that are quick, not too dark and have an HEA, this is a good one.

Casey is just moving in with her little girl and a dog. Introductions are in order. Casey asks Stone about jobs in the area and he tells her to come down to the club and he’ll give her a trial run. Stone wants nothing to do with attractions, emotions, lusty passionate nights. Casey has a lot on her plate so she is not interested. Nobody is interested so nothing is going to happen! Until something happens. It’s an enjoyable story with some sexy, steamy, good love things happening.

Curvy Girl and the Bad Boy Next Door is a cute story. Casey is new to town. When her tattooed motorcycle riding neighbor Rock says he has a bartender job at his bar she really has no choice. She left her ex and is in desperate need of a job. She doesn’t plan on falling fie her boss but she does. But she’s told Rocks a player and not to get attached. She falls foe him anyways. When her ex comes calling to get her back will Rock be able to save her? This was a super cute storyline and I loved the characters. I would definitely recommend this book. I’m looking forward to the series.

When she asked to be paid in cash, he knew she was running from something. Despite neither wanting any kind of a relationship, they could not fight the attraction when they got to know each other. But when her ex, a cop, tracks her down to force her to come back, will Rock stand up for her? Will he fight for her and keep her safe? Or will he be forced to let her go?

Nice book for a quick read.

The puppy's playful antics led to an unexpected meeting, and an instant connection was formed. Casey needs a job, and Rock suggests his bar for the club but she wants paid in cash. She has fled with her daughter to escape an abusive former partner, who is a police officer. They are now in hiding, fearful of his pursuit. Will her past find her and if so, can Rock save her??

I did feel some of it was a bit anticlimactic but good for a quick read.

This was a fun and satisfying read that lets the gal get the bad boy...who, in reality, was the best guy ever ;P Rock and Cassie had all the sparks you could want in a romance. She loved a rough and edgy kind of man and Rock did fit the bill nicely ;) He also happened to be kind to her daughter and puppy. Bring on the swoon! Of course, it's not all sunshine and roses and I loved the justice Rock dished out to the trouble hassling her and his club. All in all, this was a great story with a fab and steamy HEA :D

This is a short romance with some heartache, secrets and danger mixed in with the sweet and steamy connection that Rock and Casey forge. She's a single mom trying to start over away from danger. Rock is an MC prez with a lot on his shoulders. When he meets Casey, she becomes his top priority. It's meant to be a short read but I did want more of their time away from the bar and with Nora. He had her won over by bringing the pup home

Love it

This is a short story if you want to read it on your lunch break . A curvy girl named Casey is running away from someone and she has a daughter. They moved away from what they have known. Casey needed a job to support her daughter. She met her next door neighbor named Rock. He owns a bar and other places. He is the prez of his own cub. Rock offers her a job and she takes it. Now something happens to Casey and Rock wants to know what Casey is running from or whom. I love this book.

Not all Bad Guys are Bad. Rock is the Prez and he's not so bad. A little surprised that the neighbor's puppy came in his doggy door and made himself at home on his sofa but it's all good. Villain's, scheming going on and that is the nice side of things. The storyline is cool. A lot going on for a girl like Casey. good read.

This was a really cute opposites attract romance. The story was well written and had a great pace. I liked how it sort of twisted who was the good guys and who was the bad guys. Casey and Rock had good chemistry and they were good together. I really enjoyed reading the story.
