The Glory of the Sun

Rate this book
A series of gospel messages on a weekly radio program of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints called "Sunday Evening from Temple Square" delivered by the author. The first 52 of these messages make up the chapters in this book. Each chapter suggests an opportunity for the reader to make a personal decision on some important point leading him to make wise decisions. This is an uplifting book providing the "nudge" to help someone move a little more steadily and happily in the direction towards eternal life.

The Glory of the Sun is the second book that I have read by Sterling W. Sill. His writing just speaks to me and I would love to eventually read all of his books, though he wrote over 30! In 1960 Bro. Sill was asked to host a radio program called Sunday Evening from Temple Square, which he did for 17 years. This book is the first 52 messages from that radio show. Very inspiring and uplifting!

Good talks. I didn't read all the talks. Moved onto books with more current talks.
