亜樹 直 Agi Tadashi is a Japanese manga storywriter, novelist and screenwriter. His original name is Shin Kibayashi (樹林 伸 Kibayashi Shin). He was born in 1962 in Tokyo, and graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Musashi Senior High School and Waseda University School of Economics & Political Science. The penname "Tadashi Agi" is shared with his sister. Under the name Yuma Ando, he received the 2003 Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen for writing Kunimitsu no Matsuri.

I enjoyed this first flashback arc more than most of the first part of the series. Seeing Ban and Ginji not on the same page is fresh and wow this is Hevn’s best volume for sure

I really enjoyed reading GetBackers: Infinity Fortress. I had to familarize myself with the setup of the book because it was different than what I was use to reading. What would naturally be the back of the book was the front and the front was the back. I was no longer going to read from left to right, instead from right to left. The characters, Ban and Ginji, were hysterical. Both characters displayed certain characteristics that drew me closer and closer to each of them. Ban was the straight foward, ask no questions type of person. Ginji was the direct opposite from Ban. He asked questions and cared about other's feelings. This duo will have to laughing from the beginning to the end of the book, as they try to retreive lost property, challenge opponents, and play mind tricks on people.

Paul has to deal with so much crap because of the Getbackers, I feel sorry for him...plus they owe him SO much money. I wonder who the Getbackers predecessors were, or why they picked Ban and Ginji to be the next ones. I wonder how Hevn finds all these weird jobs in the first place. Without being able to defend herself, her life is so dangerous. Ban and Ginji should just accept jobs without asking about them if they really want to pay back the tons of money they owe.

I found this while on a trip to the bookstore trying to find GetBackers Vol. 4. Instead I discovered GetBackers Infinity Fortress and after reading the description on the back I was excited to read it.
