"My name is Laura and I live in a little log cabin."

This is a short lift-the-flap book themed around the Laura Ingalls Wilder series.

In it, we visit some of the most memorable characters as they do things in and around Laura's home.

In every two-page spread, we meet a character, we get asked a question, and then an answer. For example:

"Pa plants seeds in the garden.
Do you know what he's planting?
Carrots!"

I'm a huge fan of anything Little House and this one was a bit of a disappointment - especially considering how hard it was for me to get ahold of it.

Don't get me wrong - it was cute but it was also so light in terms of content, subject and flaps. I liked the art but there wasn't much happening on each page - lots of empty space.

The book needed more to it - and as it stands, I'm just glad I was able to find it in the library system and didn't actually have to spend money on it.
