Connect with Mother Earth and your Ancestors through inspiring stories and healing wisdom, and discover how to come home to yourself.
We are all Future Ancestors, and we have a responsibility to nurture, protect and restore the balance to our Mother (Earth). We are of her. She owns us. This book honours her and honours us.
I am Annabelle Sharman. I am a proud Aboriginal Bush woman of the Mutti Mutti tribe grown in the Australian Mallee among the gum trees, the Murray River and red dirt running through me. In this lifetime, I am (have become) the Spirit Weaver, living Self, Spirit and Mother Earth. I have become the Master of my own healing journey, having learned my lessons through life. I am a survivor and now I am Home, I am whole and I am Oneness.
Throughout this book, I hold a space for you to see and feel through your Ancestor eyes, heart and Spirit, and to dance through the pages of this book. You will be guided to uncover and unravel a piece of who you truly are.
I am an Ancestor of the future. Here I am, I have arrived. I am here, I heard you. I honour you, I honour me.
This book adds a unique voice to any journey of reconnecting to your true self. Its magic lies in being able to experience and see what it's like connecting to the land and the universe that holds and surrounds us through the eyes and essence of Annabelle Sharman, a proud Mutti Mutti first nations woman. And in doing so, recognising your own ability to do the same to your own native lands.
While it initially might feel a bit jarring reading a narrative that flows so easily between past, present and future, it's worthwhile keeping in mind that Aboriginal culture, language and thinking are structured differently to that of most Western languages. I believe the flow of the narrative is a result of that, and thus, in itself , it gives an insight into how Annabelle moves through our world.
Grateful for the words of wisdom and the author's elder energy. I'm inspired to tap into my own roots and learn how to make a spirit cloth.
Reading this had me remember and re-sense my own experiences with Mutti Mutti land, which added a whole other dimension. I still see myself amongst the amazing red gums of Barmah Forest among the Murray, listening to the many many birds, feeling utterly content.
I didn’t know what to expect when I picked up this book. I was just drawn to it. This book is so powerful and healing. Amazing look inside Australian Aboriginal healing, culture, and oneness.
