All I wanted was a piece of cake.

After the last two years, I earned a piece of chocolate torte, damn it.
But I owe a friend a favor.
And he’s withholding my chocolate until I find a missing key.

Easy peasy.

Well, it would have been easy if that key didn’t open a huge can of worms.
And by worms, I mean mur-ders.

Now, I might be married off to the highest bidder.
Tatiana is missing.
And a giant, sparkly drag queen has me in their sights.

You thought your last Thursday was bad.

My name is Wysdom Ward.
And these are my case files.

"The Missing Key" is the second story in the Wysdom Ward Case Files.

These humorous mysteries feature an over-40 wise-cracking private detective.
Her PeriMenopausal Irritation Level is at a 9 from men who keep telling her to “calm down.”
These books have snarky humor and scenes that aren’t appropriate for readers under 18.

Another fantastic mystery! What starts out as a simple desire for chocolate, ends up being a much bigger, and quite dangerous, case. I loved it! Highly recommended!

All she wanted was some chocolate cake. What she ended up with was a body and another mystery. Thursdays suck.

Wysdom is on the trail and you don't want to miss a thing! A wild story with funny characters, suspicious bad guys, and of course, snarky humor! Got book 3 and 4 preordered! How will this all end?
