I bought this textbook as a first year medical student on a recommendation from a friend in a higher year level. This is my most regretted purchase so far and I seldom use this textbook. I subsequently bought Clinical Examination: A Systematic Guide to Physical Diagnosis and I now use it exclusively as my physical examination textbook.

lots of visually stimulating content by way of the excellent collection of clinical photographs but otherwise lacking. the one thing i liked about it most was the beginning where the authors detail out problem oriented medical record taking.
