Stone Gallo has lived life like every day is a party. No attachments, no responsibilities, and absolutely no falling in love. He spent his days at Inked and his nights wherever he pleased. But when Stone rescues a beautiful woman in need, his entire world gets turned upside down, and he’ll never be the same.
Opal hasn’t had much luck in life. No family, no friends, and absolutely no love. But when a handsome tattoo artist steps in and saves her from a horrible situation, her entire world changes. She's immediately sucked in by his charming family, wanting nothing more than to be one of them, but knows it’s not in the cards for her…it never is.
But when fate steps in, they can’t stop what’s coming—Stone and Opal sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g…
Inferno is book twelve in the interconnected standalone Men of Inked Heatwave series by Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Chelle Bliss.
I love this family so much, and this story highlights every reason why. The way they welcome, protect, give, love, and sass makes for an amazing read. Stone is a Gallo man through and through. He has confidence in himself, a bit of an ego, protective, and scared at first to make that plunge. But like the men that have come before him, once he dives in, he goes full force and doesn’t stop until he gets her. Opal is a gem of an FMC, having a history that could have impeded her she instead used it. She may seem weak and meek at first, but she has a force and fortitude hidden within. I adore Stone’s and Opal’s story! And, I’m excited to see what is next for this amazing family.
4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review I liked Stone and Opal’s love story. It opens with the moment that changes everything for the two main characters. Stone overhears Opal’s boyfriend berating her at the Inked tattoo shop where he works. Stone kicks the deadbeat out and offers Opal safety at his house for the night. The two of them get to talking at a bar before making it Stone’s house. Both of them feel something special but neither makes a move because of everything that’s happened to Opal just that day. Weeks pass with very little contact until Opal gets a flat, ending up at Nuts & Bolts Mechanic shop which happens to be owned by the Gallo family, as well. Through the Gallo family grapevine, Stone finds out and meets her there. Secrets were revealed about Opal’s ex that pushes Stone to step in for good. Is the steamy attraction between them enough to overcome Opal’s past so they can move forward together?
So happy to be back with the Gallos again! Inferno is book 12 of the Men of Inked: Heatwave series. It’s always such a treat to come back to this family saga! I love the Florida vibes, makes feel like I’m back there again. The whole family really comes together in this one to get Stone and Opal’s romance! Though these two definitely start off as friends, their moments together were very sweet. The lines are blurry between what either of them wants and they would slip up into something deeper every time they spent time truly alone together.
This story does have instalove which is not my favorite but it makes sense with these two. Other Gallo family members bring about a lot of their deeper conversations. But I liked that they still had the conversations that were tough and would push their boundaries. Especially Stone!! That man was a vault… until Opal lol
Overall, I really enjoyed Inferno and the newest addition to the Men of Inked: Heatwave series! I definitely recommend you give this one a read if you love romantic suspense and family sagas that will make you laugh. A big, big thank you to Chelle Bliss and Valentine PR for an advanced copy for review!

Spice Rating 2/5 🌶️🌶️
There is open door scenes in this book though they are short and not often! Innuendo throughout.
Sensitive Content There are no sensitive content warnings but this is a romantic suspense novel. Here is the sensitive content I observed while reading:
Abusive relationship (not between main characters) Alcohol Blood Car Accident Death of a parent (off-page) Emotional abuse (not between main characters) Kidnapping Misogyny Profanity Sexually Explicit Scenes Violence
Female Main Character Opal
Opal’s character had a rough go at life. The most unlucky person! It was as if she could not catch a break until her life collided with Stone’s. She finds contentment, safety and consistency in this man. I do not begrudge her a thing—she deserves it after all she went through! Losing her family at a young age, going into the foster system and her abusive relationship with her ex are just some of a long series of unfortunate events. Despite all that, Opal is sweet and but struggles with trusting Stone and what he has to offer. I don’t blame her given her past! I relate to Opal so much with that feeling of not wanting to be a burden and having to do it on your own! Really resonated with me. This book had some heavy topics, but I feel Chelle treated them well! I love how the Gallos surround Opal with so much love but they aren’t overbearing.
Male Main Character Stone Gallo
Stone is our good time guy who has no plans to marry or settle down any time soon… until Opal. He is completely out of his depth trying to pursue her but wants to be with Opal. He is so fiercely protective of her from the very beginning. Sort of a meathead like his dad but definitely still really romantic like Mike too! So cocky, this man will hear a compliment about himself through walls! Covered in tattoos and bulky muscle he is exactly how his name implies 😏 I loved that his family saw him struggling and gave him the little pushes and nudges in the right direction with her. I love Lily, his sister, and how gentle and reassuring she was with him. Especially when everyone else in the shop would pile on him lol Stone was losing his shit over Opal but he shocked me with some of the sweet words he would say to her.
Genre Romantic Suspense
Tropes Friends to Lovers Family Saga Small Town Romance Rescuing Her From Mr. Wrong He Falls First Found Family
Stone and Opal definitely have an attention-grabbing meeting. She’s the woman with a jerk, he’s the guy about to step in because he knows no woman should be treated the way this guy is treating the woman with him. The fact that she’s beautiful doesn’t factor into it…much. Because Stone’s ready to step in regardless, but he also really wants a chance at getting to know Opal.
So once they get past the awkwardness of their first meeting, they don’t seem destined to meet up again. Or are they? Because Stone doesn’t want to admit it, but he was all in the second he got to know Opal even a little bit. And maybe Opal’s not as much of a charity case as she thinks. But someone definitely has their eye on these two, and it’s a question of whether or not they’ll succeed in whatever it is they want.
While this is a slowish burn, it’s also enthralling because Stone is growing into the guy who doesn’t want to let The One go, no matter how much he tries to deny it. And once he listens to men who have fallen fast and hard before him, he knows what he has to do. Make Opal his, now. He just has to convince Opal that he’s truly looking for everything with her because she’s been burned too many times.
Add in family antics, danger and a surprise that no one expected, and the love that these two share, and you’ve got a read that will keep you hooked to the last page. And then we have to wait for the last story to be told….impatiently, I might add!
We're back in the Gallo world that Chelle Bliss has created for us and I couldn't e more happy. Inferno is book 12 of the Men of Inked Heatwave series. Which has lived up to its title. Inferno sets your emotions a flame in a wonderful way 😊
Stone gallo is a man who lives life with no commitment other than to his family women he doesn't get close to he puts everything out there up front and make sure they know it's not leading anywhere permanent he lives his life for himself and isn't looking for a lifetime commitment anytime soon he is however Gallo through and through he has a heart of gold and is there to help anyone in need and that's exactly what his plan was when he met opal in the family tattoo shop. However Fate has a different future planned out for Stone and Opal.
Opal has never had good luck her life has been one horrible situation after another after she lost her parents. She's used to disappointment, neglect and having to fend for herself. She doesn't expect kindness from anyone. She's always looking out for herself and so when Stone and Gigi gallo defend her and make sure her jerk of a boyfriend/ex-boyfriend leaves their shop without her she's uncertain of what to do. No one's ever cared for her that way especially strangers. Reluctantly she goes with stone and accepts his kindness and a place to stay that's safe.
Opal and stone form an amazing Bond and you can see from the start that there's something there as reluctant as opal is she can't help but fall for not only Stone gallo but the entire Gallo family. When they can't fight their feelings and they act on the chemistry that's raging like an Inferno it's all over. However the twists and turns keep coming when opal is put in danger not only does stone go on high alert the entire Gallo Clan is ready to defend and protect opal like she's one of their own, because in their hearts and in their eyes in true Gallo form they have made her one of them.
Chelle Bliss gives us another outstanding story, my emotions ran all over the place. She grabbed my heart strings and kept on tugging. If you love The angsty, suspenseful, action-packed Romance that Chelle Bliss always gives us then you are going to absolutely adore Inferno.
Stone Gallo has you swooning from the beginning and keeps a hold of your heart all the way through the end.
It's time for Stone Gallo to take centre stage, and guys you're in for a treat! As Stone like his dad Mike is one mushy, smooth talking, extremely protective hottie.
And I devoured his story.
As Stone first lays eyes on Opal when she is being verbally abused by her boyfriend Jeff after he gets a tattoo at Inked. And whilst Gigi is ready to step in and kick his butt. It's Stone who after just one glimpse at Opal steps in to save her.
Then Stone offers her a place to stay when he learns she doesn't have any money, her phone or a friend to call on. And from that moment on he's smitten. But circumstances including his Aunt Fran keep him from acting.
Until weeks later his cousin Gigi calls to say Opal is at Mammoth and Tamara's garage. But so is Jeff. So once again Stone steps in to protect her
And this time he's not letting her go. Besides his Aunt Fran, Gram, sister and cousins won't let him!
However, Jeff isn't quite done with Opal or Stone and the pair have a battle on their hands if they want to get the happy ever after they've been starting to dream off.
And with lots of familiar faces, humour, family feels, heat, and sweetness. Not to mention a little emotion. This was a brilliant addition to the series, and its a story and series I would happily recommend to all.
My thanks to Chelle Bliss and Valentine PR for the opportunity to read an early copy of Inferno. 😊
I always loved Mike and Mia’s story, so I knew I couldn’t wait for their son, Stone’s story as well.
Stone Gallo always sees himself as the quintessential bachelor. Never tied down, different pu$$y every night. At least he thought he did until his cousin Gigi’s d-bag customer talked down to his girl and put his hands on her. Stone was raised to always treat women with the respect they deserve, so seeing this guy’s behavior, he decides to step in. Now he can’t decide if it’s the best or worst decision lol.
Stone and Opal have so much chemistry it’ll burn up your e-reader. And I absolutely adored watching Stone fall hard lol. Now he knows what all his dad, uncles, and cousins have always talked about lol. I always love being with this family. They are loud, extremely nosy, and always meddling in some way, but I adore each and every one them. I loved seeing Fran step up and be a mother figure for Opal too. Overall, I loved this story so much. It’s a slowish burn, until it isn’t. Once each of them decide they are all in, it’s warp speed lol. As always, I felt I was immersed into the story and especially into the family. I really need for them to be real lol.
I will forever be a Gallo girl and it’s nearly impossible for me to pick a favorite. But if I had to… Stone is easily at the front of the pack. “Inferno” is an action packed, sweet and amazing addition to the Gallo world and I loved Stone and Opal so much.
Stone meets Opal at the family tattoo studio, when her boyfriend is there and is his client. But not liking the way he’s treating her, Stone instantly steps in to help and protect her. Opal has had a hard life ever since her parents passed away when she was a teenager. Having Stone step up for her is an unknown concept to her and to be taken under the wings of the Gallo family is a foreign sensation to her. But as the two spend time together, both realize that they have been looking for each other this whole time.
I was hooked from the very first chapter and could not stop reading. Stone going into instant protective mode for a woman was just amazing. The Gallos are a great family who have strong men and even stronger women leading the family. They are always there for each other no matter what and I totally understand why Opal was intrigued and scared by it at the same time. Stone was so patient with Opal knowing that she couldn’t be rushed because she had been on her own for so long. They had a true connection and I could feel it as I read their story. The steamy scenes were so good. And I laughed so much with the classic antics from the family. I cannot wait for the next book.
I can’t stress enough how much I love and adore the Gallo family, especially this second generation! Each time that I get my hands on one of these books, I fall more in love and Inferno (Men of Inked: Heatwave Book 12) is no exception. This book is such a sweet and delightful treat with just the right amount of spicy sexy times, humor and a touch of drama. Stone Gallo has all the charm and protective traits just like his father, Mike Gallo which comes in handy for Opal. Thank goodness Stone is there for Opal in her time of need, they have a great connection and I love the insta love aspect of their relationship. Inferno’s storyline is engaging and of course, the Gallo family and their witty banter and antics make it even more entertaining. And now I’m definitely looking forward to Asher Gallo’s book!
Inferno is the next book in the Heatwave series and features Stone, Mike and Mia’s son😁 When a situation takes a turn, Stone steps in to help the gorgeous woman out and offers her some help.
Opal is used to doing things herself but sometimes help is necessary. She gets pulled into the Gallo world and it’s literally, quite out of this world. Absolutely loved the sibling/cousin interactions that had me laughing out loud but also the quiet and sincere moments between Stone and Opal❣️
A must read series, though I would advise to start at the beginning for a better reading experience. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️
Inferno was a story that had your skin sizzling from the chemistry and your pulse racing from the drama. Stone and Opal’s story is a little quirkier than the others in this series and for this reason it was one of my favourites. The dynamic between the characters was entertaining, endearing and felt relatable. A story of soul mates, love at first sight and also about fighting your feelings as you struggle to understand them. I laughed, smiled, cried and fell in love right along with Stone and Opal. A thoroughly entertaining love story that has you unable to put it down.
Here is another story from the Men of Inked: Heatwave series and this time is Stone and Opal. Stone is working in the family tattoo shop when a jerk is leaving with a woman and is treating her badly. Stone steps in and offers the woman help knowing no woman should be treated that way. And not knowing what is about to hit him. Opal doesn't know what to do with Stone's help, no one offers help for free. She has been on her own since she was 18 and can take care of herself. When Stone and Opal spend time together the embers burn and neither knows how to handle them. But when they decide to spend the night together, the embers explode into an inferno that neither wants to deny. Can Opal handle the Gallo family? Will they give in to their feelings? Can they protect each other from lurking threats? I love this series and each addition seems to get better and better. As the family evolves, their love, strength, and protectiveness does as well. So sit back and enjoy the ride. Any story from this author is worth reading. **I received a free copy of this book to read and this is my honest opinion**
Stone Gallo works with his cousins at their tattoo parlour. He's working one night when a client abuses the woman with him, stepping in Stone throws the guy out. Being rescued is something Opal isn't used to, she feels self conscious. When Stone insists she stays with him, Opal is even more embarassed. Stone feels an instant attraction but he also feels something else. When Opal finds herself in danger, Stone is instantly by her side and they begin a relationship. Is this something that's built to last? When danger rears its head again will they survive? This was a true Chelle book with characters to make you jealous and a family you'd like to be part of! Can't wait for the next one!
Absolutely loved this one. Of course, it is Men of Inked so it's to be expected. Stone doesn't know what hit him when he meets Opal.
I love the way this author brings the Gallo family into every story. I also loved that Stone was SO much like his father, since Mike has always been my favorite of the OG's. Great story that sucks you in from the very beginning and you absolutely never want it to end!!!
This was a fast paced, drama filled book that was bingeable & easy to read.
I loved the elements of found family in this book. Opal had never had anywhere she belonged ever since she was put into foster care after her parents died at 16. She had made life good for herself and then she fell for the wrong guy. When that relationship blew up, Opal found herself without a place once more. And the Gallos came through. It was so cute seeing her interact with the aunts & grams & even all the cousins. The love this family gave her was so sweet.
Every couple has their own story & I had not read any of them yet but didn’t feel like I was missing anything. Each character was introduced well enough you knew who was who.
For me the downside to the book was I think it wasn’t long enough. Certain plot points felt rushed & I realised at the end there’s not actually that many scenes of Stone & Opal together in a couple sense just the two of them. This led to things for me feeling a little rushed. I think it could have been better with more pages for things to be added/delved into deeper.
The added danger elements to the story kept the story fresh & fun and made it more than just a romance.
I would definitely be interested in going back to read the rest of the families stories as I am intrigued by a lot of them.
Tropes: Damsel in distress Found family Instant connection
Spice: 🌶️🌶️

TWs: Stalking/toxic/manipulative relationship Death of character
The Latest MOI:H Book is Super Sweet and Steamy Chelle Bliss’s “Inferno” is the 12th book in the Men of Inked: Heatwave series, and all good Gallo girls have been waiting for Mike’s son to get his HEA! Stone Gallo is every bit his father’s son, and he and Opal pack a whole lot of steamy chemistry, aww moments, and all kinds of good stuff into this tale. Opal’s backstory is so real and heartbreaking, but I really love that it only makes Stone realize how tremendously lucky he is to be a Gallo. Such individual growth for them in addition to a sweet love story. Aunt Fran is front and center in this one, and I love her even more now than I have throughout all of the interconnected series in the MOI universe (if that were possible). All the cameos from many elders in the family make this a special read, but I’m dying for another text thread among the cousins! Definitely a five-star read for me!
I love Stone and Opal. (Kind of fitting that their names compliment each other).
Stone, freaking, Gallo. 🥵 wow. Chelle has outdone herself in this sweet story. Sweet and spicey!
Stone is having the time of life being young without anyone tying him down. That’s changes when he meets Opal.
Opal wasn’t looking for love when they met, but she sure appreciated his help. She’s ready to duck and run, but Stone won’t let her. Instead, he takes her to Sunday dinner at his grandparents. We all know what happens there.
This is a great story, HEA, and a continuation of Chelle’s Heatwave series.
Even though it’s always fun to revisit the Gallo clan with all their drama and craziness, this book just felt “meh”. Most of all the goodness was there, except the balance, the timing, and the character’s reasoning just felt “of” and plain dumb and naive at times. It was insta-love without heart and both MCs went head over heals without seeing each other more than twice. Not to mention how everyone just adores the FMC to pieces without ever having spoken to her and going solely on her good looks, curves and tushy. Disappointing.
Inferno by Chelle Bliss, is the 12th book in the Men of Inked: Heatwave Series, Stone Gallo is this man that women adore, his physique and charm make it easy for him to be a player and he's nowhere near wanting to settle down, all of this will change when his path crosses Opal's. Opal is a girl who from a very young age has experienced many difficult things, from losing her parents at a young age so she ends up in foster care to now where her boyfriend is an abusive idiot, it's in one of these moments that Stone overhears Opal's boyfriend scolding her and treating her badly in the tattoo shop, and decides to intervene and throws him out of there, and to help Opal calm down he offers her his house to spend the night, but before going to Stone's house they decide to go to a bar to have a few drinks to hep her relax and the more they talk and share they begin to feel an attraction and chemistry between them but none of them do anything about it, but that night will change their lives, Stone can't seem to forget of her and although it is something new for him, he is determined to find out what this is that he feels for her, and more when he finds out things about her ex-boyfriend that awakens his protective instinct towards her. But they will have to determine if their attraction is so strong that they can leave their insecurities behind and can trust and believe in each other. This is a beautiful story full of suspense, romance, beautiful family bonds, laughter and tears, with sweet moments and of course love. It is a story where you will end up loving all the characters and their nuances, strong themes are touched on but the author does it in a very special way, Highly Recommended!! *Thanks to Chelle Bliss and Valentine PR & Literary Management for my ARC. I voluntarily leave my honest review*

More Heatwave🔥Hotness! Fabulous Story & Narration🎧
Inferno Men of Inked: Heatwave, Book 12 By: Chelle Bliss Narrated by: Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke
I love, love, loved this book and spending time with the Gallo family is always a treat and an enjoyable time. Chelle Bliss creates something very special when she created her Gallo world. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with and their stories are not only captivating from start to end but they are escapism at its best. The “Men of Inked: Heatwave” series is the second generation spinoff of her “Men of Inked” series and it is always great when those characters, the parents, make appearances in these books too. This twelfth book brings us Stone Gallo’s story. Stone is Mike and Mia’s son and is a tattooist in the family-owned shop. Gigi was not happy with the way he was treating his girlfriend, but refrained from saying anything. When Stone steps in and sees her, he could not help himself and jumped in coming to her defense. No one ever stuck up for Opal before, and she had enough of Jeff’s verbal beat downs. Now she had no place to stay, Stone offered to help her, but she didn’t accept help easily. She goes with him and then they run into his Aunt Fran and Bear, and his aunt connected with Opal immediately. Opal tries to bail, but Stone is on to her and he and his aunt convince her to stay. Stone, the partier and player, is taken with Opal and is not sure how he feels about it. Opal has not had the best of lives, and is not used to people being so kind, helpful and protective. It amazed Opal how tight the Gallo family was, their love for one another and the camaraderie amongst them and how accepting they were of her. Opal’s ex is not done with her yet and both she and Stone need to watch their backs. Wow, I loved how everything played out in this book, and as usual, the writing, plotting; and world building is phenomenal. It was great to watch Stone fall head over heals for Opal and to watch Opal to grow into her own. Chelle Bliss, thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor continue their magic at the mic and do an amazing job of bringing these characters and story to life. They understand the characters they are portraying, give each a voice that is firing and they are believable in every role they play. Brentmoor nailed it as Opal, grasping every side of her personality, from her vulnerable side to her more confident side as Opal grew into her own. Clarke’s Stone was spot on, an alpha with a heart, not afraid to show his protective and caring side. They were just as fantastic performing the roles of the secondary characters, too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.
Re-entering Chelle Bliss' Gallo World is like returning to my comfort zone. I love the Gallo family, and INFERNO was another entertaining, humourous, enjoyable read.
Stone Gallo had his feet knocked out from under him when Opal walked through the door of the Gallo's tattoo shop. He's been brought up knowing that disrespecting any woman is not on, so when Opal is manhandled by a customer, he steps in to save her. An action that will forever change the way Stone thinks. He's a typical alpha Gallo man, and insists on Opal staying the night with him to keep her safe. An instant connection forms, yet they part ways and don't see each other for several weeks.
Opal is beautiful and sweet. She's had a tough life that has led her to believe that she is not good enough for anyone. She's always felt that she'd never had a lucky break in life, that is until she meets Stone. Even though he is caring, attentive, and protective, she finds it hard to trust Stone and why he wants to help her. Stone is the second to last of the Gallo cousins who remains single. He's cocky, covered in tattoos, and extremely contented living the single life, he's convinced himself that he's not ready to settle down.
I adored the way the relationship between Stone and Opal evolved. The chemistry between them was red hot and undeniable, yet Stone continually questions the feelings he is starting to have for Opal. I loved that his family (yes all of them), gave him some sound and humourous advice. It was fun watching Stone grow emotionally, he was actually quite sweet and loving. Stone and Opal may have met under unusual circumstances, but they were destined for each other.
The one thing I love when reading stories involving the Gallo family is catching up with everyone. I love the constant teasing, the warm hugs, the comfort and support, and the love they have for each other. I really enjoyed the relationship that developed between Fran and Opal, it was a friendship that blossomed instantly.
Yet again, Chelle has written an addictive story that has plenty of laughter, some suspense, a touch of danger, and enough love that kept me swooning. Next up is Cinder, Asher and Olive's story, and sadly it is the last in this wonderful second generation series.
Get ready for jaw-droppingly, heartfelt, emotional ride that is Stone Gallo finding his woman & doing everything in his power to hold onto her! This is an intense, exciting, explosive highly anticipated Book 12 of this phenomenal Men of Inked: Heatwave series. We have all fallen hard for the entire Gallo family and watching Stone's happy ending unfold was a powerful and emotional rollercoaster ride. Stone has never been looking for love but he was raised right (we love his parents Mike/Mia) and when a woman is being disrespected he will not stand by and let it happen. When he steps in for Opal at Inked when her douche of a boyfriend is berating her and treating her like dirt, Stone can't do nothing so he eradicates the problem and lets Opal know she is safe!
Opal has just moved to Florida to be with her boyfriend. She knows no-one and has hardly settled in and now she has this beautiful, strong, and so kind stranger rescuing her and she doesn't know what to do. She didn't have family or people she could rely on so this all new but wonderful. Opal is one of the most adorable characters that Chelle Bliss has written. She is sweet, kind, caring, and so cute that it will make your teeth hurt. She is a perfect match for Stone but can he get over his fears and get the girl?
You know the Gallo family won't allow anyone to be hurt and his family jump right in with two feet to make sure Opal is safe and taken care of. I love this about this entire family. They are beyond amazing and those attributes are throughout this book from start to finish. Stone & Opal will steal your heart right from the start and you will devour their passion, commitment, and affection for each other and the entire Gallo clan. Be prepared for another phenomenal story that enhances the already outstanding Heatwave series. As always, we get to see all of our favorite Gallo's and their significant others; which adds to the WOW factor of all her books. Happy Reading!!
*There is only 1 more Heatwave book left and I am extremely sad about saying farewell to this amazing series. If you have not read any Men of Inked yet...start from the beginning. Here is a link to the reading order. :) https://menofinked.com/gallo-saga/

Ugh!!! I am so bummed that I have finished Inferno. I didn't want this amazing story to end. OH. MY. WORD!!! I loved every word. I have been left in such state of extreme bliss. The Gallo family are the best. Forget the Brady Bunch. I will take the Gallos any day. Every day.
The way the family rallies around Opal has left me so envious of a fictional family. The love they exude has left me green with envy. I want to be embraced by the characters that Chelle Bliss has created and generously shared with us readers. I want to read Inferno again and scream its awesomeness.
The author has taken Stone, the perpetual horn dog, and turned him into a responsible, respectful, doting young man that any mom would be proud of. All it took was coming to Opal's rescue when she was being disrespected by her boyfriend. A boyfriend that just left her at the tattoo shop. Who does that???
If you don't believe in love at first sight; you will after reading Inferno. Opal finally has some good in her life and it just keeps getting better and better. Stone has never been in a relationship. Stone has never wanted a relationship. Opal changes everything. Reading his transformation left me smiling for hours. Inferno is such a feel good romance.
The family accepts her with open arms. She has something she hasn't had in years. It is beautiful. It is amazing. When the Gallos circle the wagons to protect her, I knew she was in good hands. The best hands.
I never realize how much I miss the Gallos until the next book comes out. Lucky for me there is still one Gallo that is single. I can't wait to see what trouble Asher gets into.
A knight in shining armour is what Stone is and boy is he swoon-worthy. Inferno is one book that had my complete attention right from the start. Ms. Bliss gives us the story of Stone and Opal, two people that are different but have a connection that cannot be explained. Their story is one of saving, friendship, love, protectiveness and family. This book is one that I could not put down. At the turn of every page, Ms. Bliss added a little twist and turn that had me sitting on the edge of my seat. Stone, the sexy tattoo artist that is carefree, has no commitments, except his shop, never been in a relationship all of a sudden Opal is right in front of him and he has the need to protect her. She is a woman that looks as if she is being abused, verbally and needs saving. Stone steps up, and treats her like the queen she should be but she feels out of place. He feels a connection that he cannot explain. There is a spar that ignites between the two of them and their friendship develops into something more. Opal's life has been one of hurt, loneliness, betrayal and one that you would not wish upon your enemy. She is feeling like she finally belongs somewhere and that is not just Stone that has her feeling this way but his family. They take her in and call her one of their own. This is something new for Opal and is taken aback by all the kindness. When the friendship develops into more, they really are soulmates. The family camaraderie adds to the liveliness of the book and gives you a few laughs to lighten the situation. A definite great addition to anyone's library.
Chelle Bliss is taking us back into the world of the Gallo men, and boy oh boy am I ready! This is the next installment in the Men of Inked: Heatwave series. As always, I recommend reading in order, but Inferno can be read as a standalone as well.
Stone Gallo does what he wants, when he wants, and most of the time who he likes as well, he lives his life with no attachments other than those of his family. This may come off cold to some, but he is the way he is and he makes no fuss about it. With a name like Stone you would think he would be as cold as one, but no. Stone has major golden retriever vibes and a heart of gold, even if he keeps it hidden. Stone is content to live his life just like he has been, but it would seem that life has other ideas in mind for him.
Enter Opal. Opal was born with a little black rain cloud. Her life has been one crappy thing after another since the passing of her family. When she walks into a tattoo shop with her boyfriend she wasn’t expecting someone like Stone. When said future ex-boyfriend starts…lets say respecting Opal in front of Stone, he is quick to act. Stone was raised to protect and respect women, so seeing what he does, he jumps right in to rescue poor Opal.
Opal and Stone are an unlikely pair, but one that I very much enjoyed reading. The Gallo’s are a family filled with love, kindness, respect and protectiveness, things that Opal hasn’t experienced much of in life. Their chemistry is amazing, their dynamic interesting and the plot keeps the reader engaged waiting for the next page with bated breath. I can’t wait to see what the Gallo Guys give us next.
This was a great addition to the Men of Inked world! I’ve always liked Stone, and this book cemented for me how wonderful he is! Stone is the son of Mia and Mike and a bit of a playbook, until one night Opal comes into the tattoo parlor with her boyfriend who is verbally abusive, and Stone sees red. No man should treat their woman that way. He kicks the boyfriend out, but now Opal has no where to go. He offers her a room at his house which she is hesitant to take. They stop off at the bar first and his aunt Fran and Uncle Bear are there, and Fran immediately takes to Opal. Opal hasn’t had it easy since her parents passed away and she was put in the system. Now that she’s kicked her ex to the curb, she literally has no one in her life. Stone and the Gallo’s take Opal into their fold, and she thinks his family is absolutely perfect. Their relationship is quick, but when you know, you know.
Except her ex, Jeff, seems to think he has some kind of ownership of her when she discovers that he’s tagged her car with a monitor. While he’s in jail, she thinks she’s free except when Stone finds out that he’s getting out and has been threatening him. They go on lockdown together and finally admit their feelings for one another. At the one place where they should have been safe, at Stone’s grandparents house surrounded by family, Jeff makes his move and kidnaps Opal. But she is made of firmer stuff now and manages to get free. The whole story was just wonderful, and I loved how it ended.
I love this family and can’t wait to read the next one!
I received an advanced reader copy for my honest review.
I have loved the Gallo's since the first book of the original series as well as the first book of this series making no exception to Stone and Opal's story.
So, in this book we meet Opal at the tattoo shop with her at the time abusive boyfriend. Not wanting to be a damsel in distress she reluctantly accepts Stone's help when she is left be said abusive now ex-boyfriend with nothing. She then forms a friendship with Stone that turns into more including the ready acceptance into his family even before both of them were to terms with where their relationship was going. Before long, she is interwoven into his family and his heart despite not having any experience with this type of family or much in her life that has been good.
Stone, son of Mia and Michael Gallo is not a relationship man until Opal shows up in his life and he is drawn to wanting more with her after helping her out with her ex. With the not so gentle pushes from his family and then the threat of danger from her ex, the once playboy Stone finds that he wants more with Opal.
So, after finishing this book, I thought that the pair were well matched with each other in their fast-paced story. I loved the banter between all of the characters both old and new in this story as well as the chemistry between the characters. I also enjoyed how similar Stone was to his father Michael for those who are familiar with his story with Mia from the original series.
Overall, I enjoyed this book from start to finish and would recommend it to others. I also look forward to seeing what is in store for this series next!
Inferno is the 12th book in the Men of Inked: Heatwave Series by Chelle Bliss, featuring Stone and Opal. Stone Gallo has always lived life spontaneously with no plans to settle down, until a belligerent customer verbally abuses and threatens a woman in front of him. One look at her, and Stone knows he will do whatever it takes to protect her. Having aged out of the foster system, Opal is truly alone, so having someone like Stone Gallo, and the entire Gallo extended family suddenly taking you in is a lot to get used to. Is she finally going to get a chance at the happiness she’s always wanted, or is the danger lurking around them going to get in the way?
Yes! A steamy action-packed visit with the Gallos was just what I needed for my own beach vacation! I flew through the pages on this one as another mighty macho man fell victim to cupid’s arrow and his own finely tuned protective instincts. I loved to see how Stone evolved before my eyes, and jumped into action to protect Opal. And the way he fell for her, despite his family’s ribbing and pressure! Gah! Those Gallo men are in a class of their own!!😍 Strap in for lots of steamy passion, gripping suspense, witty banter, family bonds, and love!! Asher is the only single Gallo left, and I can’t wait for his story!!
I received an advanced review copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Inferno is the twelfth book in Chelle Bliss's Men of Inked: Heatwave: series and it is as hot as it's title would suggest!
Stone Gallo lives his life simply, but with no commitments. He's a true Gallo and has a heart of gold and is willing to help anyone out that he can. He just makes sure that every woman he dates knows that he isn't in it for a long term commitment. His family seems to think that one of these days that will change, but for now, Stone is on his own path and doesn't have a hard time finding a willing woman.
Opal hasn't had much luck in life when it has come to love. It hasn't mattered what kind of love either. She was abandoned early on in life and found herself having to fend for herself. She finds herself in a bad relationship now and when she and her boyfriend show up at the Gallo's tattoo shop to get ink, they end up helping her out of a difficult situation, where Stone offers her a place to stay for the night.
It was obvious from the outset that Opal and Stone have enough chemistry to ignite their own fire! It was amazing to watch Stone fall for Opal after having witnessed his uncles and cousins doing it, it was finally his turn! One of the more unexpected, but awesome things about this book was how Fran took Opal under her wing. I didn't see that coming, but I thought it was so sweet when it did. I love the Gallo family and it was so fun to dive back in and spend some time with this bunch again!
**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review**
Inferno Men of Inked: Heatwave, Book 12 By: Chelle Bliss Narrated by: Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke
Woohoo! I love hanging out with the Gallos. Every book is like coming home to the family dinner table. Interfering family members, all with love and good intentions. This is Stone and Opal's story and what a story it is! Stone works as a tattoo artist, and overheard Gigi's distaste for the way Opal's boyfriend was treating her. Definite signs of abuse, Stone steps in, and our story begins. Love at first sight? No, but there is chemistry, and Stone cannot help be feel overprotective of the beautiful girl. He offers her a place to stay, and the family begins their meddling. I love it! But is that all there is to it? No way! Chelle Bliss weaves a thread through this including the deranged boyfriend and it's creepy and scary! I love the twists and turns she gives it, the relationship that builds between Fran and Opal and just everything about this wonderful story! It's magic as always and leaves me waiting for the next family dinner!
And who better to voice this story? Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clarke as always make a fabulous team, bringing each of the characters alive. Brentmoor delves into the psyche of Opal, with a bit of fear and hesitation, but lets us in on exactly when she begins to warm up to the Gallos. Clarke is the warm and protective Stone, impossible not to love! He brings out the best in Stone as he realizes what love is. Fantastic narration and wonderful listen!
