Another Steve McVey triumph! Imagine hearing a love song on the radio and finding out God is actually singing the love song to you! Dr. McVey truly understands grace and God's love and he presents this love in powerful, yet practical ways that we see and hear every day but may not notice. All I can say is that I notice it now!

There is much to be commended in McVey’s books, the most comprehensive being Grace Walk. The grace movement has made great strides in moving the church from a performance based relationship with God to a relationship defined by God’s passionate pursuit of us. However, this book, and the others I’ve read on this topic, seems to view God’s grace as an end unto itself. Grace is the start and sustainer of our relationship with God, but that relationship should compel us to follow God from a heart of love and gratitude for all that He has done for us. Too often it simply gives people license to live the life they choose, hiding behind grace instead of viewing it as a foundation to a two-sided love relationship.

An amazing look at the truth about how God feels about His most prized possession--me (and you--we're all His favorites). This book has the power to change erroneous concepts of Abba, and therefore change your life. If you want to actually feel the love of God, savor each chapter, meditating on the truth that the God of the universe is inviting you to dance your way through life with Him, in Him, as He sings over you! I guarantee that you will come away knowing this: God is for you!

just what i've been needing to read for a long time. this book goes over a lot of the issues i've been dealing with in my heart for many years, and gave me a biblical perspective on my relationship with the Lord. i'd recommend this book to anyone who is a Christian, but especially to those who may be struggling with your view of God and how you can relate to Him.

One of my favorite books on the extravagant love God through Christ. McVey has a shocking, but significant and truthful way of writing about the Lord's heart for us.

This was a book that really makes you think about God's love for you. As with all of McVey's books it took me awhile to finish it because of creasing the verses listed and doing my own study.
