This book is positive and insightful. I love that throughout the book Marian Jordan makes references to the title by consistently using the metaphor of shining and light throughout the book. Even the cover of the book has a glow and that is the message she is trying to get across in her book. Marion Jordan discusses how each of us has an inner glow and that can only come from one source. The verses in this book tied in perfectly with her message and overall I really enjoyed reading it.

Really, really good book esp for high school and college women, but any woman would benefit from reading it. I like the Biblical principles woven with modern application and illustration.
