Stories have been around as long as human language, as long as the human species has been around. That’s a long time. Stories are an invaluable part of our evolution. Stories help us realize our life’s purpose. They help us to uncover our true nature. This is why Jesus Christ, one of the greatest teachers who has ever walked the earth, taught in parables. For instance, there is the Parable of the Sower, and the Parable of the Prodigal Son, and the Wedding Feast, and the Lost Sheep. The mind constructs stories, sees patterns, and works by analogy. Stories facilitate the learning process by bringing it to life.Where do we turn for our stories today? While many of us still read books, almost everyone watches movies. Movies are modern day parables that often contain hidden messages which can reveal our true Self to ourselves. Just as Christ spoke in figures rather than literally, many storytellers construct tales which have a symbolic meaning of which not even their authors are aware. Indeed the storyteller can be the last to know what his story is about, for it is the subconscious mind at work and made manifest in symbols and through words.This book is about the hidden messages of movies, which can prompt you to turn your attention within, experience the kingdom of God, and realize the Self, for yourself.
