Get Lucky!: Make Your Own Opportunities

Rate this book
Does anybody know what luck actually is? Why does it seem to 'happen' to some people but not to others? Does good or bad luck run in families or is that just a myth? Is there any point in carrying around some poor rabbit's foot on a chain with you for the rest of your life?! Everyone is fascinated by luck and everyone would like to know how to make some for themselves. Theresa Cheung shows how creating good fortune for yourself is a skill and an attitude that anyone can master. She maintains that lucky people know how to attract good luck. They have an ability to make everyone want to help them get what they want and where they want to be. What truly sets these people apart is the way they behave - if you want to be lucky, all you need to do is start behaving lucky. Sounds good so far? 'Get Lucky!' could be the next step towards your new, charmed future.

If you're looking for a book which teaches you how to create your own luck then here it is! This book has wonderful tips including some tips on how to make friends and wonderful connections. It also talks about making luck from a more realistic perspective, so it does not have the "new age" feeling to it. It's a positive and realistic book. It understands that sometimes stuff happens, but you can decide how to react to it. This is one book I recommend not only checking out from the library but purchasing.
