This is our second book by Mel Friedman from this series “A True Book” and it is excellent. We borrowed this from the library but these books are worth having in your own library at home, especially if you homeschool. You can break down the chapters, introduce vocabulary words, science, history, current events, geography, biology. It’s amazing how deep you can go with these little books.

(Non-Fiction) A true book series book with lots of great facts and pictures. Difficult reading for elementary but appropriate for gifted and grade 6 and up. Recommended for ES - maybe gifted 5th graders.
