Although a bit repetitive, I found the information in this book helpful and wish I had had it with previous dogs.

After we got Lucy and I had to learn for the first time in my life how to housetrain a dog I realized that housetraining a dog is a matter of life and death for that dog. And that it has to be treated with that degree of seriousness. Dogs that pee in their houses strain their owner's love. And even though most of the cases are the owner's fault the dog gets blamed.

A good compact review of how to housetrain a puppy. No word on its effectiveness yet, but seems like it'll be easy to reference. I especially like the sample feeding/potty schedules for indoor and outdoor pups.

In hindsight, it would have been smarter to get a book that included all training, not just potty. But since this is the most important (and hardest), this book will probably be okay.

This book is a must for anyone with a puppy or dog who needs help with his potty manners. It is quick and easy; oh, did I mention that your house won't smell like a dirty diaper.

This was just an extended version of the chapter on house training in Puppies for Dummmies. Your really better off reading that one because its more concise.

I purchased this book right before I got my first puppy and I found the information to be very helpful, especially because I have no idea what I'm doing! haha. Recommended for first time dog owners. Housetraining is a lot more work than I thought it would be and this book is helping me through.
