Whiff

Rate this book
"Whiff" is the new novel by David Edwards (Seguier). It is illustrated by the Japanese Manga artist Junko Murata and continues the story of Edwards first novel, "Niche, " co-authored with Jay Cantor (Plessis). "Whiff" derives from an actual experiment performed in Paris at the art and science innovation center, Le Laboratoire. In this latest experiment, the double-Michelin-starred chef Thierry Marx collaborated with the colloidal scientist Jerome Bibette to introduce a new way of encapsulating flavors. Wishing to present these delectable capsules in an unusual way, a group of art and science college students developed with Edwards a new way of eating by aerosol, called whiffing. "Whiff," whose publication coincides with the commercialization by Le Laboratoire of aerosolized chocolate, explores how we dream, and realize our dreams, through surprising combinations of aesthetic and analytical methods. "Whiff" is also accompanied by the first whiffing recipes.

If an alien dictator takes over Earth, and decides to burn all the books in the world. This is one I would NOT save.

The writing is atrocious, and that's coming from me, someone who sits behind her computer desk bashing other books because she can't write. How would you feel if someone is constantly telling you what's happening - imagine this person next to you while you're watching The Matrix. 'Oh look at that whiteness, that symbolises his transformation into....and now Neo has just left the club and to his left is...he's now crying....and here we see a door, he's about to walk past it but no now he's turning his head and putting his hand half way up and five centimeters to the right...' Pretty annoying right? This is what reading Whiff is like.

Excuse me while I go and never in my life try Le Whif.

Even bad spelling is funnier than this book.
