Good romance. This book takes us back into the world of the California Napa Valley and wine country. This Baci sister is the middle daughter, Stevie. She was always the wild child. She’d rather punch the boys than kiss them.
When our story opens Stevie’s ex fiancé is planning his wedding to a beautiful princess and wants to book the Baci Winery. Unfortunately Stevie is forced to be in charge of it when her sister can’t. Meanwhile, the princesses’ brother is there to ensure Stevie doesn’t sabotage the wedding.

This is the second book about the Baci Sisters and I understand its going to be a Trilogy. The first book dealt with the youngest sister Alessandra aka Allie who falls in love with the illegitimate half brother of the Bennett brothers Liam and Seth aka next door neighbors, aka "not so silent" partners in Tante Baci Winery and aka arch rivals of the Baci Sisters. This book tells the story of the middle sister Stephania aka Stevie. She falls in love with the brother of her ex-boyfriends fiance' but more about that later. The next and third book is about Giulianna aka Jules who is the oldest Baci and at some point she and Liam (the oldest Bennett) had a relationship it seems based on their interactions they still have feelings for each other but hers usually involve hostility. Another character that is mentioned fairly often is an illegitimate Bennett Sister whose name we don't know. My hope is that at some point we will see Seth's story and her story possibly as a secondary story in the next one. Stevie's ex and Jack's sister is a secondary story in this one so I figure its possible that Seth and ? could have a secondary in the next one. Course its not my decision.

As for the primary story everyone treats Stevie who is more or less a Tomboy with lots of sympathy because of her breakup with Emerson. They think Stevie still has feelings for him which is not true, yes it hurt what he said when he broke up with her but she's over him. Stevie is considered to be one of the boys. She can do mechanical work on cars, and plays poker weekly with Liam, Seth, Bob and a few others whose names I can't think of at this time. Sometimes the guys seem to forget she's not a guy and usually that ok by her but sometimes it bothers her. Anyway, some people think she's tough others think she's fragile but no one seems to understand her until Jack and he definitely sees her feminine side. The first time she seems him she has no idea who he is but eventually learns and he lets her know in no uncertain terms that he's going to be anywhere she is when she is doing anything with his sister (Roxanne aka Roxy) and Emerson. Not only is she chauffeuring them around time at various times she's also in charge of planning their wedding which will be at the winery. Normally Allie would handle the Wedding Coordinator duties but she's recovering in Malibu from surgery for a broken leg or was it foot, anyway for those who have read Christie Ridgeway's Knitting Series (not sure of the exact name, I haven't read it but have read about it on her website) there is a reference to the Knitting shop featured in it. Allie hobbles into to the Malibu & Ewe one day and has now taken up knitting, she was bored (no bad refection on knitting intended). As she and Jack spend time together he seems to notice things that other guys have forgotten to see about her and he listens. They seem to have a sense of what the other needs and from the beginning there is an attraction that both try to deny but can't fight. Of course they get their HEA so do Roxy and Emerson who with the help of Jack and Stevie learn a few things about themselves and are able to only heal from the past (mostly Roxy in this case) but put on their big person clothes and state what they believe is right for them.

This is definitely a page turner and I look forward to the next book in the series. According to the Teaser Chapter at the back of this book Drunk on Love will be out in July 2011. If you look at the Q&A on the Author's website the title listed is Can't Hurry Love, this must be the working title. I'm curious to know how the two titles fit the storyline.

Teetering between a 4 and a 5 star rating for this book, so I will call it 4 1/2. I have read some real intense, emotional, thinkers lately so it hard to rate this book in comparison. If you are looking for a good, easy read, humorous story with great characters, strong sexual connections, with a few choke up moments, you've got it right here.

The second book of Christie Ridgeway's Three Kisses series was an absolute gem. The main characters Jack and Stevie had instant chemistry and got under each other's skin immediately which made many of their encounters hysterical. They both appeared so strong, but were so vulnerable. Stevie, the middle sister of the Baci sisters, was a tomboy and felt she never measured up to her other sisters' femininity so she rebelled. Her flash backs to her youth were priceless- she dominated, scared, and was respected by every man in town. Then she meets Jack who is a prince and in town to help his sister plan her wedding to Stevie's ex, as well as, make sure Stevie doesn't sabotage it. There is an immediate something between Jack and Stevie, what it is neither of them know, but Stevie knows he is absolutely wrong for her in every way. Feeling challenged, Jack pursues her hard against his own will. Stevie didn't want to open her heart again and be told she wasn't good enough so she went into the relationship as a man would. Some very funny scenes result from Stevie's brazen attitude towards Jack, a one upping kissing scene, as well as, her approach to sex- "sex like a man" she calls it, no cuddling and gone before he wakes in the morning, had me grinning. She definitely gets the better of Jack. Jack comes off as a wild, bad boy who lives life carelessly, but he is hiding some past experience as well. As a result he feels he doesn't have a heart to give Stevie.

Also what I liked about the story was that there were many other sub plots; secondary love story between Stevie's ex and Jack's sister, hunt for treasure, and some foreshadowing for the next book with the explosive couple Jule's and Liam (dyn-O-mite, can't wait)

I love stories with Princes and Princesses. I always have and I don't know why.

Jack is royal prince visiting California. Stevie is the owner of Princess Limousine Service. They meet at a New Year's Eve party, where Stevie is there to pick up her ex, Emerson, and his new fiance, a royal princess, named Roxy.

I loved the characters. Stevie was a strong woman, who has adopted this strong tomboy persona. She's hard on the outside and soft on the inside. Jack is just like her. He's this infamous playboy, who manages to see past Stevie's exterior and see to her real self. He also is using her persona to hide his own demons.

I liked the relationship between Jack and Stevie. I also liked the tantalizing snippets we saw of Liam and Gulianna. I'm really looking forward to their book. Emerson and Roxy were nice, but it was hard to like them because of the back history, although they did grow into likable characters at the end.

This is the second book in Ridgway's Three Kisses series, about the Baci sisters and their winery in Napa Valley. I enjoyed the first book and was looking forward to the rest of the series. I wasn't disappointed. Both Stevie and Jack were excellent characters. Ridgway really excels at writing deep, emotional romances. I only wish I didn't have to wait another 6 months for the 3rd book.

I truly enjoyed and loved this book! The chemistry between Jack and Stevie was smokin' hot, and it was also nice to see Roxy and Emerson get their happy ending as well-- they're the couple that's getting married at Tanti Baci by the way! The funny thing is that these four are all related and connected to each other in every way. The heroine in this book, Stephania Banci used to date Emerson... but he broke up with her. Roxanne Parini happens to be our hero's younger sister and she's getting married to Stevie's ex. What a mess right?! First chapter in, Jack pretty much flirts with Stevie and straight out tells her that he'll be watching her and tells her that she better not try anything funny.

I've been in the mood for contemporary romances lately and I have to say, it's that time of year again! Last year, I read Allie's story in Crush On You and while it was interesting, I didn't like the heroine or the hero that much. But this book? It's definitely a winner! Jack and Stevie are two very different people because you know what? Jack happens to be a prince! The main problem that these two have is that and the fact that Stevie doesn't want to lose her heart again. It's pretty understandable and typical, but I liked how Christie Ridgway went with it. It started out as a relationship with no strings attached... and then they start growing feelings for one another. Another interesting aspect about this book is that as readers, we also get a follow-up of the other couples involved as well as the next couple in the last book. Hmm, Liam and Jules anyone? Ooh, I'm truly looking forward to that one! I always knew there was something between those two, even when I read the first book. The author sort of hinted that they had a relationship back in the day... and it left both of them bitter towards one another ever since. Either way, the steam factor was actually pretty high for this one! Shocking right? Not to mention that Jack and Stevie were coming at each other 80% of the book. Hah!

To sum it up, if you're looking for a pretty steamy contemporary romance for the summer, you should check out this series. Then He Kissed Me had me sold from the first chapter! 5/5 stars for this lovely book~

I liked this one a lot, maybe even better than book 1. I think Stevie's character was more interesting than Allie's. One of the things I like about this series is that there is an alternate story going on as well as the main story. Gil's romance in book 1 was super sweet and hot. And in this one, we got to watch Princess Roxy decide what to do with Emerson. But the main story was all Stevie and Jack. I didn't get a chance to get really invested in this book but I think I could have. I'm really looking forward to Jules' book next. I'm hoping her and Liam can work everything out!

Stevie, the tomboyish middle sister in the Baci family gets roped into planning the wedding event of her ex and his new fiancee, who is a princess. She'd gone her separate way from the vineyard, but has now been dragged back into it and now has to face the town's pity and her own humiliation as she takes care of this wedding. Even worse though, is the bride's prince of a brother, Jack Parini, who is a walking sex magnet and claims he's going to be the "fly in her champagne" until the wedding is over, since he's convinced she'll try to sabotage his sister's wedding for revenge. Jack gets to know Stevie much better and no longer considers sabotage a possibility, but he still wants to be the fly in her champagne just so he can get to know her better. Stevie though, wants him for her own purposes, and is terrified of falling in love with him.

This was an enjoyable read. I definitely liked Stevie WAY more than I liked Allie, but Jack was my favorite character in all of this. Yeah, he started out overly arrogant and accusing, but he fell fast and was willing to be used by Stevie because of his own issues of self-worth. He became pretty damn endearing. Stevie was at least seemed less selfish and more protective when she decided she'd use Jack as an ego-boost and keep it no-strings attached (compared to Allie), but it bugs me a bit when a main character walks away from sex feeling cheap and used. What is it with these people using sex for their own purposes like that? Still it didn't make me dislike their pairing or anything. I also enjoyed the foreshadowing and hint drops about Jules and Liam's relationship and I'm kinda intrigued but also dreading that story - I predict that it's going to be an angst fest with lots of pain and I don't know if my heart can take it.

The secondary romance was the least enjoyable part of this book: Emerson (Stevie's ex) and Roxy (Jack's sister). Roxy at least was interesting, as I've never read about a Kleptomaniac before or seen it as a disorder, so that was different...but I wasn't a fan or Roxy at all. I also wasn't a fan of Emerson. What kind of person says, "I know, let's get married at the winery owned my ex who I dumped most brutally!"? Emerson reveals his character right there, and Roxy shows her selfishness in going along with it. NOT ONCE did either of these two characters, that I'm supposed to be routing for, think of Stevie's feelings or think that maybe this was a dickhead move. Nope. Totally selfish. And Roxy further compounds this when she goes to Stevie to admit that she stole Emerson away and that they started a relationship while Stevie and Emerson were still dating. She claimed she wanted to be honest. Well, nothing comes of that honesty except more pain for Stevie and alleviation of guilt for Roxy. So that was a completely selfish move. And was I supposed to like Emerson? He's weak, he can't commit or stand up for what he wants and at the first sign of trouble he goes running off to Stevie to get her to take him back. Of course everyone knows that he's merely confused and scared, but I'm sorry that's a serious offense and not something you forgive at the snap of a finger. I honestly could not like that man nor want him to have an HEA. So this little side story, which takes up a sizable portion of the book, was not my favorite. Mostly, I read this for Stevie and Jack's story, which was much more enjoyable.

Stephanie Baci (Stevie)
Jack Parini

Stevie is the tomboy, middle Baci sister. Who runs a limo service and reluctantly helps out at the family winery, Tanti Baci. When she gets stuck driving her ex-boyfriend and his new fiancé, who happens to be a Princess, on a wine crawl, she meets Jack, the brother. Jack takes a immediate interest in Stevie because he’s afraid she might cause trouble for his sister’s wedding. Stevie notices Jack in the shadows and wonders who the mystery man is, when he gets into the limo, and introduces himself. They both have emotional baggage to work through but their chemistry is hot. I liked both Jack and Stevie, they are fun characters. It’s good to see how they work through their problems and work together.
I would definitely read more books by this author and read more books in this series.

This was a fun cute story and was fun to read. Stevie had stepped away from the running of her family’s business because she did not want her heart broken when the business went under, and it looked like it might. When Stevie’s sister was injured, Stevie promised to help with the wedding side even though she was more of a tomboy. Unfortunately her first wedding job was for her ex-boyfriend and a Princess and just to be sure that Stevie did not ruin the wedding, the bride’s brother showed up all handsome and mysterious. In trying to protect his sister, Jack learned a lot about himself and a lot about his family but was he ready for that? Great cute story

The hero and heroine’s story gets lost in the other characters’ story. I really didn’t understand Roxy’s compulsion to steal and her big confession that she stole Emerson from Stevie was just messed up in my opinion. Just wasn’t the biggest fan on this one. Two stars for Stevie and Jacks story at least

Stevie never expected to fall in love with Jack, a real prince. They disliked each other from the moment they met but ended up falling for each other

This was yet another "did not want to put down" book by Christie Ridgway. All of her books are must reads.

Hmm.. Well, it did not live up to my expectations. I am little confused about the ratings.. It was OK in some part and I LIKED it in some part.. So I would give this book **1/2

As you all know this the story of middle Baci sister Stevie. Stevie had cut off from her sisters the most. I did not know what I was going find in this book. After reading this book, I guess I loved the previous book Crush on You more. Allie's story was much better than Stevie.

In this book we are introduced to Jack Parini, a real prince who is the brother of Stevie's ex's fiancee. Jack loves his sister Roxy a lot and he would do anything to ensure she gets what she wants. i.e. marrying Emerson, Stevie's ex, while Stevie is helping them in their wedding.

He was total charming and jerk too. Well, if you ask me both the lead pairing were not my fav in the series. I guess Allie and Penn are my fav. So, sorry I am not going to write much of a review here. There were some scenes which had me sighing especially when Jack promises to send Stevie white roses every day after he leaves her.. That was oh-so-romantic!! *sighs*

This particular scene where Jack sees the photo of Baci sisters as kids and that way he saw it gave us a new view of Stevie..

and later when he confronts Stevie and shows her the same photo which she has always seen and never observed it from his point of view. This gives light to what her mother thought of her.

These were some scenes which had me doing awwwww.. choo chweett!!

and the secondary story was of Emerson and Roxy, which completely bored me. I seriously wanted to know about Seth!! Buh!! and now I got to know that next book also does not have Seth's story!!! This is so unfair!!!

I don't know if this book will be liked by all. I, for one, did not enjoy as much I expected to. After reading this, I found first book better. I am just going to the last book so that I know happens.

This is the second book in Ridgway's Three Kisses series, about the Baci sisters and their winery in Napa Valley. I enjoyed the first book and was looking forward to the rest of the series. Both Stevie and Jack were excellent characters. Ridgway really excels at writing deep, emotional romances that aren't bogged down or too heavy.

Stevie is the most closed off of the three sisters. As the tomboy, she's always felt somehow inferior to her sisters, not to mention out of step with them. Unlike the other two, she's chosen to start her own business rather than run the family winery. But when Ally breaks her foot, Stevie has to step in and take over as planner for a huge event..the wedding of her ex-fiance. As if that isn't bad enough, the soon-to-be bride's brother is dogging her every step, determined to make sure she doesn't harm his sister in anyway. But who will protect Stevie from getting hurt?

Jack has done his best to live in the moment since an incident happened in his teens. Now the only thing he takes seriously is making sure his baby sister is happy. Keeping an eye on Stevie is no hardship - she attracts him on every level. But when things get a little too serious, will Jack and Stevie be able to set their pasts aside and accept true love?

Stevie really struggles with feelings of inadequacy because of some careless words said in anger by her ex-fiance, plus a feeling of being the odd one out in her family. As a result she holds herself back from getting too close to anyone or anything. She's always been "one of the guys" and she hides her femininity as much as possible. While this could have been annoying, I rather enjoyed it. It was refreshing to see a woman who chose to "have sex like a man" (ie without messy emotions getting in the way). Plus, it allowed for a lot of personal growth on her part. Watching her learn to open up and find herself was wonderful.

Jack isn't really the playboy everyone assumes he is. Yes, he's been around the block a time or 20, but many of his escapades were wildly exaggerated. That doesn't mean he's ready to settle down, however. His refusal to get involved in a messy relationship don't stop him from being attracted to Stevie. Again Ridgway excelled at writing a fairly common trope. Jack had quite a bit more depth than he was given credit for, so the ties he came to feel to Stevie were even more poignant.

The secondary romance between Jack's sister, Roxanne, and her fiance, Emerson (Stevie's ex), was also interesting. There were times I was more interested in them than in the main protagonists. Especially Roxanne - she was very well written. Emerson was kind of a jackass at first, but he really came around as the story progressed.

Another solid contemporary romance from Ridgway. The progression of the romance was well done and I loved the relationship between the sisters. I only wish I didn't have to wait another 6 months for the 3rd book, Can't Hurry Love (the book I'm most anxious for).

4.25 out of 5.

Well, this is my first book by this author. It was recommended by someone on goodreads and I thought I would give her a shot since I am kind of on a contemporary romance run right now. To put it simply, I liked it-but didn't love it. There were things I liked about it and things that bugged me a little as well.
First of all, let me say that the storyline is a little far-fetched considering it's the old prince falls for a commoner plot. The way she does it though makes the characters seem a little more real than past attempts. She spends a lot of time developing the characters by explaining their pasts and what molds their fears and hang-ups they are dealing with today. This story is about Stevie the tomboy of the family who's ex gets engaged to a princess very quickly after their breakup. She has a limo service and is forced to chauffer her ex and his fiance around town on New Year's Eve. Jack is the princess' brother who is very protective of his sister and warns Stevie not to try anything to ruin his sister's happiness. They take an instant dislike for each other yet are both also immediately in-lust with each other(of course). So ensues a lot of bickering and sexual tension. This is definitely at times entertaining and steamy. I do think they have very good chemistry together. Stevie gets roped into planning her ex's wedding....sorry but that would just be too awkward for words(!) and therefore must spend a lot of time around Jack as well. I just have to add....my one pet peeve about this story. It is pointed out MULTIPLE times by Jack that he thinks her lips are so sexy....the perfect blow-job lips. Ok, now I am not a prude. I have read every type of romance genre there is including some erotica but does he really have to say and think these exact same words repeatedly throughout the book? Really? I started rolling my eyes after about the third time. I found it a little disgusting that that thought popped into his head every time he saw her mouth. Ugh. Moving on...
Anyhow, it was a nice read, and it left you wanting to read the next in the series about the last sister not yet hooked up. This book was definitely good enough for me to follow up with the next one. It had a lot of redeeming qualities. Lots of humor, good characterization, and a good HEA. I recommend giving it a shot.

Stephania, or Stevie, Baci is an independent woman and a bit of a tomboy. She owns and operates Napa Princess Limousines. While she and her sisters own Tanti Baci Winery she wants no part in running it. When her older sister Allie breaks her foot and has surgery Stevie finds herself assisting in the wedding planning for her former love, Emerson, and his royal fiance, Princess Roxanne of Ardenia. (Yes, this one of those only in a romance/book/movie moments).

Roxy's older brother, Prince Jacques "Jack" Parini, a supposed bad-boy with a history of being in the tabloids, shows up to protect his sister. Jack wants to make sure that Stevie doesn't do anything to ruin his sister's wedding. On the surface he appears to be a good for nothing spoiled Prince. But there's more to him and you see that through his relationship with his sister and his friends.

Stevie is vulnerable. She's different from her sisters and doesn't appear to be as comfortable in her skin. She tends to hold herself back in relationships. I really liked the character of Jack. It's clear he loves his sister and feels guilt over an incident in their past. But I also liked how he was drawn to Stevie. When Emerson shows up at Stevie's and says some not so nice things, Jack wants to punch him for what he said to Stevie - not because he was about to hurt his sister.

I liked that Roxy and Jack weren't perfect. I've read some books before where the "royal" is perfect but that wasn't the case. Both Roxy and Jack come with baggage and flaws. But with their partners help they can overcome them.

While the book focuses on Stevie and Jack, the secondary romance between Roxy and Emerson was also well developed and well written. While it could be easy to hate Roxy because she stole Emerson's heart, you can't help but like her. Even Emerson who doesn't come off as being of great character turns out to be a good guy.

While this book is part of a series, it can be read on its own. You won't loss much if you aren't familiar with the storyline with Allie or Penn. If you are looking for a light fluffy, sweet read, I would recommend this book. I just wish I didn't have to wait so long for the next installment!

My thoughts:

I truly must read more contemporary romance, it is so refreshing, and real, and still fairytale love, awww.

This is the second book, but I jumped right in and missed nothing. In the last book the first Baci sister found true love, and in this one it is time for Stevie, the tomboy to find her love. She always played with boys, and she is not seen as the most feminine person around, she also hides her feeling. But I liked her, she was perfect as she was, and behind that mask she hid a lot. Then there is the playboy prince from Europe, oh every woman should get to kiss a prince, so of course I liked him. Especially when they both start to realise how strong the attraction truly is between them.

There is also the side story with princess Roxanne and her groom, Emmerson, or shall we say Stevie's ex. What I did not like is how fast that happened, and truth be told, I never did see the attraction there between them. On the other hand I did not care, if it is there it is, if not then it is not. Dunno of I liked her either. Anyway I was more focused on the main couple and not these two getting ready for their wedding. There was also some drama with Stevie's older sister, and that looks to be a good third book.

They are hiding a lot of feelings in this book. Stevie from way back, and Jack is still dealing with a kidnapping that happened when he was younger. It is not a whirlwind romance, there is lust, doubt about the lust, and exploring the lust.

Final thoughts and recommendation.

Oh, yes I wanna give this one a 4, I am so contemporary romance starved. It was so wonderful to read about real people in my own era. And I am such a sucker for a woman who falls for a prince, I always loved that scenario. The book was fun, romantic, and with a nice feeling all the way through. It also made me wonder about the next book, and made me wanting to read it. Because I liked her style.

I was browsing through Goodreads one night when I saw that there is a lot of new romance books coming out in the next couple of months. While doing this, I stumbled upon the Three Kisses series by Christie Ridgway. Then He Kissed Me is the second book in the series. The summary sounded good, the reviews were positive and that compelled me to take a chance on the books. And boy, I was pleasantly surprised, and really happy that I did!

This is one of those books that you just wanna curl up with on a weekend and enjoy late into the night. It’s about Stevie Baci and Prince Jacque or Jack as he’d rather be called. I was definitely looking forward to reading this after ‘Crush on you’ which featured the youngest of the Three Baci sisters. See, Stevie is the middle child. The daughter who was always getting herself into messes. Literally. She was a tomboy in her youth and still is even as an adult. I liked that about her. She was tough and strong and hung out with the boys. She owns her own business called Napa Princess Limousine, which she works at as a chauffeur. This is how she met her prince. She Just come off of a rather unpleasant breakup, and now she found herself driving around her ex and his princess bride, Roxanne. Who is Jack’s sister. Poor Stevie, I thought. But then things got interesting. Jack, whose got this rep as being a bad boy, etc, sticks on to Stevie, like white on rice or as he put it ‘fly in her champagne’.

He wants to make sure that she doesn’t come between his sister’s happiness. So he comes up with this plan to put his sister’s mind at ease. What ensues is an amazingly fun and super sexy story with a little bit of angst thrown int sweeten the pot. Also, did I mention that Jack speaks French? When he calls Stevie ‘mon ange’ I about swoon my ass off. He’s so slick and yummy.

I really enjoyed reading the second book in Christie Ridgway’s ‘three kisses’ trilogy. Her writing is upbeat and smart and delightful.

Then He Kissed Me by Christie Ridgway
Contemporary Romance- Jan. 4th, 2011
3 1/2 stars

Out of the Baci sisters, Stevie is the middle girl. Unlike her eldest or the youngest sister, Stevie does not help out at the Baci Winery. Instead she focuses on her own business called, the Napa Princess Limousine. When the Baci sisters transform the winery into a wedding destination, Stevie ends up as the limo chaffeur and wedding planner for her ex-boyfriend – a man who abruptly dumped her for a real Princess. Unfortunately, the bride’s brother, Jacques Parini, takes it upon himself to oversee the event and make sure that Stevie will not sabotage his sister’s wedding. But is doesn’t take Jack long form him to realize that Stevie is very dangerous to his mind and his heart. Can he win his this Napa Princess’s heart?

Fun and breezy, this is a charming story about a tomboy who secretly seeks acceptance and a prince who is really a simple farmer at heart looking for meaning in his life. Stevie is an out and out tomboy, treated by the guys as one of them, and capable of fixing cars and doing rough-and-tough jobs. But, her inner self-doubts, her constant struggle to be liked, and her unwillingness to display her feminine side makes her a likeable and relatable character. Similarly, Jack Parini might be as glossy as model on the outside, but in the inside, he still deals with the repercussions from a traumatic incident in the past. Reading about them getting together was funny and heartwarming at the same time.

An engaging story with two interesting main characters, this book is for those who dream about a princess fairy tale romance.

3.5 stars. This is one of those books that you just wanna curl up with on a weekend and enjoy late into the night.
It's about Stevie Baci and Prince Jacque or Jack as he'd rather be called. I was definitely looking forward to reading this after 'Crush on you' which featured the youngest of the Three Baci sisters. Who is Jack's sister. Poor Stevie, I thought. But then things got interesting. Jack, whose got this rep as being a bad boy, etc, sticks on to Stevie, like white on rice or as he put it 'fly in her champagne'.
He wants to make sure that she doesn't come between his sister's happiness. So he comes up with this plan to put his sister's mind at ease. What ensues is an amazingly fun and suoersexy story with a little bit of angst thrown int sweeten the pot. Also, did I mention that Jack speaks French? When he calls Stevie 'mon ange' I about swoon my ass off. He's so slick and yummy.

I really enjoyed reading the second book in Christie Ridgway's 'three kisses' trilogy.
Her writing is upbeat and smart and delightful.

Both heroes have strong similarities with the ones I read about in my last book :
- the heroine has always been a tomboy, has lots of male friends whom she spent time with and who often forget she is indeed a woman. She looks really tough on the outside, not to allow herself to care too much and get hurt again
- the hero had a traumatic event in his past and only goes through life since that.
However this book is the perfect example that it can work perfectly, that some seamingly cliches characters can be very convincing and moving, when rightly depicted with confidence and feeling, as Christie Ridgway does it.
It manages to be both light, funny at times, deeper at others. Well overall very, very good and highly enjoyable.

I really liked the interactions between Stephania and Jack, the perfect playboy always playing a game and progressively loosing it.
What cost the last heart to this book, was the infamous ex-boyfriend Emerson, whom I could not like, neither understand, and the fact I cannot really believe his relationship with Roxane, Jack's youngest sister, will really work out in the long term, neither that I want it to work for her sake, as he is such a wimp.
Finally I also really liked that the French words used were always correctly spelled and that all but one (the first one actually) could have been used by real French people; most of the time than not, it just only looks like bad internet or dictionnary translation. Given the importance of those sentences in the exchanges between Stevie and Jack, it would really not have worked for me otherwise.

This is the second in the series and just as intoxicating as the first! Never a dull moment in the lives of the Baci sisters.

This one features Stephania Baci who, in addition to helping at the family winery, also owns and operates a limousine service. Sometimes that is real hard to swallow since everyone in the small town of Edenville knows everything about everyone.

Stevie ends up helping coordinate the wedding of her ex when her sister Allie breaks her foot. And the new fiancé ‘s brother is there to make sure that she doesn’t sabotage it. It wouldn’t be such an issue except that he is so incredibly hot and hard to ignore. And a real life prince. Seriously.

Jack Parini wants his sister to have the wedding SHE wants without letting their mother railroad her into making it a media event. And he’s got to keep an eye on the ex as well. Isn’t his life just grand! So he buys a small vineyard to keep him busy until after the wedding. He’s not getting involved with Stevie because nothing ever works out in relationships and he doesn’t have a heart to share.

Stevie has always been one of the guys, working on cars, playing poker. She doesn’t do relationships either so things should be just fine in her life. Yet Jack makes her feel things she never thought she would feel. He’s so bossy and she’s so stubborn. Perfect match?

I really liked stevie's character. She was strong willed and had a take-no-prisoners attitude. She was a tomboy but it turns out under all that...she was actually...a woman. Her male friends took it for granted that she would laugh at all the crude jokes, join in on poker night, and never actually act like a girl. All it took was her now ex dumping her and him then finding love with none other than her complete opposite...an real-life princess. Then to top it all off, the winery that has been in her family for a century is now on the fast track to falling apart. They now host weddings to hopefully save the vineyard and her ex decides to have the wedding there and she is expected to help prepare the wedding of the man every still thinks she has feelings for. Then she meets Jaques...aka Jack the brother of the bride and he thinks becoming a "thorn on her rose" is necessary to keep Stevie from destroying a new life for his sister. Now Stevie is fighting both her family and her growing feelings for Jack...to no avail of course. This book is a tell tale of a little girl all grown up, having someone see her for who she is and what she is capable of. And of a man who has in own demons to fight but finds a connection with someone who doesn't seem to want it. I enjoyed the 2nd edition in this series...I can't wait to read the next book.

This is the second book in the series. Three sisters have promised their father to keep the vineyard running. Stevie is the middle sister & runs a limo rental company. With the younger sister, Allie, out of town with her fiancee (& a leg injury), Stevie is roped into overseeing the wedding of a princess and Stevie's ex-boyfriend. The princess's brother, Jack, thinks Stevie will do something to break up the happy couple so he vows to stick close to her.

The plot of this book was extremely emotional. Jack & his sister had to endure a terrible experience when they were younger & neither of them have completely gotten over it. The author's style of writing led us through the plot full of land mines expertly. The full range of your emotions are involved as the story progresses. The instantaneous chemistry between Jack & Stevie is hot! This is a story of second chances if you have the courage to reach out for happiness & find the courage to trust & try again. Like "Make Him Wild", this book was re-released with some rewrites & new scenes added in. I would recommend this book to everyone.

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Loved this book! As always Christie Ridgway gives us the fiery Baci sisters and their barely surviving winery/wedding hot spot! We get the lively middle child Stevie whos is a tom boy through and through. Recently getting over a nasty breakup she gets thrown into heading the upcoming nuptials of her recent ex and his new princess bride! But with this princess bride comes a brooding French speaking brother whos hot on her heels. Jack needs to make sure Stevie doesnt sabotage his baby sisters wedding...so he'll have to keep a close eye on her...a VERY close eye! ;)

I love Christie Ridgway! This is the second book in the Three Kisses trilogy and it doesnt disappoint! You get a few reoccurring characters along with all the loving (yet uber nosey) town folk! The third is set to come out in July 2011 and its the eldest sister Jules and Liam...the Bennets from across the field and secret partners in the winery! (They have a super secret past youve been teased with now TWICE with these past few books) CANT WAIT! =)

I usually do not like the middle books of a series as much as the first and last book; however, I did like this one more than the first in this Three Kisses trilogy. I think it was the sarcasm in this one. The first book was a cute romance, and mushier (in a good way), this one was spunky, snarky, and just had more flare. I have a feeling the third in this series is going to have fireworks. There are snippets in this second book that show you preview to the third book.
This is a fun series for those of you looking for something light to read that you know has a good old fashioned Jane Austen ending. The trilogy has one book dedicated to each of the Baci sisters. They are on a mission to save their family winery by transforming it into a wedding destination in the famous Napa Valley. While struggling to save their heritage they each find or discover romance and all the ups and downs relating to their stories.
I also would also recommend this for fans of the Nora Roberts wedding quartet.
