I don’t know where to start but I hope everyone who is considering buying this book should read what I have to say, I first saw this book on TikTok and I was interested in it so I purchased it. I’ve already read like 30 pages and I gotta say, this book made me so emotional and it made me tear up I feel like every word is written from the heart and I find this book very informative. GET THIS BOOK Btw I saw someone say the book talks about sex and puberty and they think that's bad. What planet are they living on? If Muslim women don't teach girls about sex using Quran and sunnah then who will? I feel like this book can teach us so much stuff and is good for Muslim girls that are trying to make their iman stronger. Thank you, Farhat Amin
This was an excellent book that I believe is very needed for girls growing up in todays society, the author covers much needed subjects such as sex education in a way that teenagers will be able to understand I believe every Muslim teenage girl should have a copy of this. Another amazing book from Farhat Amin 😍
A must read book for not only a teen daughter but her parents as well. Its a good book to use when discussing topics such as sex, hijab, marriage, lgbtq+ and gender issues etc . Its well written easy to digest more suited for 13 years old or high school/university students.
Tackling all the major topics the current GenZ and Gen Alpha are facing.
The cover art whilst lovely should be geared towards a younger audiance as this looks quite dry in the bookshop. The book size is larger than a standard paperback so doesnt fit into a small bag only backpack or large tote bag for on the go, which is a barrier. If the marketing of this book is revamped I feel it will appeal more to a wider audiance.
I recently had the pleasure of reading the book "Smart Teenage Muslimah" and I have to say, it was truly an inspiring and uplifting read. Muslim girls will find the advice and guidance in this book to be both practical and relevant to their daily life.
The author, Farhat Amin, does an excellent job of addressing some of the unique challenges that Muslim teenage girls may face in today's world, while also providing valuable insights and practical tips on how to navigate these challenges with confidence and grace.
One thing that really stood out to me was the emphasis on the importance of maintaining a strong connection with Allah (SWT) throughout our daily lives. Amin offers practical advice on how to make our faith a central part of our daily routines, from establishing a consistent prayer routine to seeking knowledge and guidance through the Quran and Sunnah.
The book also touches on important topics such as puberty, healthy relationships, and sex education. Amin's advice on these topics is grounded in Islamic teachings and values, which I found to be very refreshing.
Overall, I would highly recommend "Smart Teenage Muslimah" to any teenage Muslim girl looking to strengthen her faith and navigate the challenges of adolescence with confidence and grace. The book is easy to read and filled with practical advice that is both uplifting and honest. Whether you are just starting out on your journey of faith or looking to deepen your connection with Allah (SWT), this book is an excellent resource that you won't want to miss.
May Allah (SWT) bless the author for her efforts in writing this wonderful book and may it be a source of guidance and inspiration for Muslim girls around the world.
A very informative book for young girls growing up in the mainstream school environment in current times.
The majority of the modern teens' time is spent away from the home engaging, interacting and being influenced by what’s around them. The author has done a fantastic job in addressing the issues young teens face or will face at some point growing up in the West. She explains with logic and great examples to reach the young minds of teens allowing thorough comprehension of the topics discussed.
Overall, a much-needed book to bring reality to check and a must-read for young Muslim teens to educate themselves and make smart decisions. For the younger girls (pre-teens, whom the book is also recommended for) some topics may need extra guidance, especially in answering questions they may have. There is a glossary at the back of the book which is helpful.
Useful information for parents, youth leaders and anyone who works with or mentors young Muslim girls. A guide to refer to when understanding influences the Muslim teens face on a daily basis and hopefully offer support, guidance and navigation through these challenges.
This book will help young muslimahs a lot, especially at times when their iman is low. All their worries are answered in this book, and I love that Farhat references everything she quotes. I believe that this book has really changed my mindset and has made my relationship with God closer. Parents of teenage Farhat AminSmart Teenage Muslimah: An inspirational guide for Muslim girls girls should buy this book for their daughters
This book is a must read not only for all female Muslim teenagers, but for younger Muslim women also; for parents and educators of Muslimahs, and for anyone who is in any position to inform or interact with Muslimahs really. The book is well-written, relevant, and up-to-date. It covers a diverse range of topics: some basic necessities to know and others that pose controversies. The book is well-researched and thought through. I have had the privilege of contacting the author directly with some detailed feedback, which has been very well-received. May Allah bless the author, accept her acts and intentions, and grant her a full and speedy recovery. Ameen.
18, nearly at the end of my teen years, been reading your book, ‘smart teenage Muslimah,’ and for real, it is so beautifully put together. Got it at London Central Mosque, my mama paid. Please keep her in your duas. SO well structured, ma sha Allah! Starts off with connecting to Allah and His book… takes you through challenges… ends with dua knowledge to help with them. It feels like an understanding of my teenage years. So many issues that had ripped me apart mentally for years were mentioned. Feels like I’m being sewn back together with love. I hope this new understanding can shine in my heart when I go to uni in sha Allah.
Great book for young Muslim girls. I've read through it before giving it to my daughter and it covers friendships, puberty and so on but it approaches the subjects in a friendly way. Like a big sister to a little sister. This a well-needed book if you want to introduce these subjects to your daughter but are unsure where to begin.
An intelligent book for teenage Muslimahs. Genuinely impressed with the examples to help young girls break down and understand ideas using rational sense. It’s awesome and truly a resource to keep coming back to.
I got the book after recommendations from a few friends for my 15-year-old girl. It's really good, she's reading it and understanding things, the changes etc. Great present for Muslim girls coping with life's big changes. Good gift to give teens for eid
Very Informative and amazing book, my daughter enjoyed reading it a lot and found it useful in the way that it explains important topics, would definitely reccomend.
