The subtitle of this book is "Don't finish another quilt until you read this book". Well, I read just the first recommended way to quilt in sections, and I took a quilt in progress and layered just the middle section on top of the whole back and batting. I'm currently machine quilting that center piece, and then will add the borders and quilt them. It is going great! More later. This worked GREAT! There are more variations to try. This is definitely the way to go when quilting on an old home machine, or probably any domestic machine.
This is a really excellent book if you want to quilt your top yourself and you don't want to feel like you are fighting with a telephone pole under your domestice machine.
