From your Favorite Amazon Best Selling Author Ruth Bawell..comes this incredible Winter Amish Story...

Esther and Rebecca Miller are grateful to their aunt Martha for taking them in. Their parents’ death was sudden and tragic, leaving the young women with nowhere else to turn. But though their aunt and her kind neighbours are eager to help them settle in, Esther feels a bit rushed. After having her world pulled out from under her, she feels lost and untethered.

Determined to make a new start, Esther tries to feel more at home in her new town. Her little sister Rebecca is doing well, and Esther is glad to be able to help her aunt with her sewing projects. And the kind young man from down the road, Winston Fisher, has taken an interest in her. Still, Esther is not sure she is ready to care for anyone again, especially after the loss she has already suffered.

But life is made for living, and Gott never gives us a challenge that we are not ready to handle—especially in love.

Esther and Winston

Esther and her sister Rebecca are on their way with their Aunt Martha to her house. They have had to move from their home and community to Aunt Martha's since their parents are both gone, and Esther doesn't have the means to continue to support them. When they arrive at Aunt Martha's, they have only made a few trips to take in the boxes when Winston arrives to help. Soon after, his parents, George and Francis, arrive to also help, and before they realize it, all of the boxes are inside the cellar. What happens the next day after worship sets the stage on how things will progress. What happens? How will Esther react? What about Rebecca? Only one way to find out is to read this great story by Ruth Bawell.

New Town, old habits, any love in sight!

Bawell writes another short story that any age can enjoy. When two orphaned sisters move to a new community to help their aunt run her business neither thought about fitting in. But, A too helpful neighbor has other plans and the long winter provides many opportunities to change the plans of many hearts. Enjoy!

A very good Amish book

This was a very fun book to read. It showed the love of family and friends. Also it showed their faith in God. It had a really sweet romance story. I enjoyed this book from start to finish.

A sweet, clean story

This story tells of the way a.family is torn apart by death and a move from the home they grew up in and to the new future they experience when they move to a new community. Love is close by and finally found.

A lot of snow.

A nice read about two sisters who move to their aunt's farm in a different community after the parents die.
I enjoyed the excitement of reading about the horse and wood filled wagon that slid down the hill with Esther still in it.

I enjoy Ruth Bawell. This was a nice, clean story of community and how we should be. I really like the simplicity of life and the story itself. I know I will read more of Bawell's catalog.
