What a great resource to help authors looking to get into selling at Conventions. The author does a wonderful job of walking through the process of what happens at Comic Cons. 'She intersperses her personal stories throughout the book. The book has a realistic tale which is engaging; yet enjoyable because she engages the reader rather than making it dry. I am a reader rather than an author and I loved her tips on how to approach readers. The "no pressure" tips were spot on. I do wish more book people would realize these. Really great resource. I would definitely recommend it to writers out there.

Megan has put together a self-help book to help authors with the art of selling their books by hand. She gives you all the tools that she uses at geek and nerd cons, from how to research, schedules, know your buyers, calendars, what you will need, how to get contacts, swags etc. They may seem like simple things, and some are but things like knowing to make sure to put your name at the top of banners as you are the product, she has learned from making a mistake. She holds nothing back and openly shares what works and what doesn’t.
Grab a copy if you are a writer and investigate what will work for you.
